I'm enjoying it. Just finished the first chapter of the American part.
I need to finish it so I can get to 100 Years of Solitude.
So far my reading list for TOAL includes:
The Yiddish Policeman's Union by Michael Chabon
Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
Now I need to get the Walt Disney book Coral mentioned.
DH & I are going to share the new Jimmy Buffet book just for fluff.
Oh and I may re-read Old Man and the Sea
I'm still looking for a good pirate book.
I may be disappointed in Chabon's book - his The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay is really good. Huck Finn, Catcher in the Rye really good.
A reference to it in the Canal book reminded me - if you live travelogue-type books, Sailing Alone Around the World by Joshua Slocum is great. He was the first person to sail around the world solo. The man had a very dry sense of humor.
I had to put Path Between the Seas down. The print is so small it was hurting my eyes. So now I am reading the Barbara Walters biography. Interesting, nice easy read and bigger print

Happy Canada Day!
I am looking forward to celebrating the 4th of July with a three day weekend. More time to organize for the TOAL.
