Ok, it's OFFICIAL ... I had my first dream about this Cruise last night

Living a nightmare at the moment....

My division director's secretary called me to tell me i had a meeting with him tomorrow. Wish me luck... i don't have a good feeling about this...

Repeating every 3 nights

Gee thats funny i spoke with the dining coordinator around 3 and she said none of that had been finalized yet... times or rotations..

This means I have to clean my own dang house.

IF ANYONE OUT IN THE DC AREA OR SURROUNDING AREAS WOULD LIKE TO MEET UP WITH ME -

mmmm perhaps if i don't drive off a cliff after my meeting tomorrow...
or dive under a bus.... weekend would be better as it's hard for me to get down there on weekdays with work and all...

Planning Alert..

If you need to order a Disney Visa Rewards card.. it takes 2-3 weeks for delivery.. ( says the website).. I ordered mine today and then I'll fill it right before the cruise..

actually the time frame is average 9 days.

I have that on my remionder list to get when we are at WDW next week. Trying to get those last few points. I will be paying my next bill asap so I can get those points moved over.

You know you don't get the reward $ for payments. They are earned from the purchases each month.

Did you try emailing Crocs about the broken strap? I had one of the fastener things that hold the strap to the shoe break and they sent me a small baggy with 5 new ones for free.

As you can tell, I wear Crocs a LOT At the moment I have about 8 pairs of the regular "Beach" style, 1 pair of Niles, 1 pair of Cleo and 1 pair of Mamoths. I am eyeing the Adara and Sassari

We had such a hard time making it on time.

Yes, 5:30 was way too early. That's one of the main reasons we're doing late dining this time. We always felt so rushed in the afternoon.

Ok some actual questions..if we want to go to blue bayou is it a must to make a ressie?


For those who have done Nemo...how close are the quarters? Esp if you are NOT a tiny person???I can remember doing Leagues and being a bit uncomfortable because of the tight quarters (can get a little minor claustraphobic in really tight spots)

I was bummed I missed the MA meet..:-( I want to meet more people (in person!)


Did I miss the bracelet sign up/order?

5:45 and 8:15pm - APL APL, etc
6pm and 8:30pm - PLA PLA, etc

If you are in Cheryl's linked group, I believe we have asked for 8 PM, so LAPLAP etc.

Oh, I don't know. As I recall when you have formal night at Animators everyone shows up in white dinner jacket, and during the evening the waiters spill various colors of food on you until, by the end of the evening, everyone is a multicolored/multiflavored mix. Then they come around and spray everyone down with black liquid licorice so you can go out (dripping) to your formal photos....

Sounds like a colorful time to me!!!

I'll be back in town Sat. night, so Sunday is doable. Weekdays I can be found between Foggy Bottom Metro & Dupont Circle Metro.

Linda and I would like to come if it's on Sunday. My Mom and Dad take the kids for a week every summer. She's down here now to watch the kids because of my rotation, and they're all leaving Saturday morning or afternoon, so it'll just be the 2 of us.

I arrive Wednesday 13th LAX at 13.10 so hope to be at DLH at say 3pm.

I have a full schdule of ADR's booked in, Steakhouse 55, was on my back-up list given to DREAMS but they got all of my first list and there isnt the time to squeeze it all in.

I wasn't going to make ADR's for the first few days, I really am fine with winging it, but maybe I should put something on the schedule just in case?!?

I have the ADR's for Friday and Sat when DH and DD3 will be joining us. Then Sun. morning, I thought we would go to Early Entry at DL and do all the little kid rides for little Jessica, come back to the Concierge lounge and grab some food to tide us over and our private shuttle to the port arrives at 10:30. That should be workable, right?

I love Story Tellers Cafe as long as we don't have cell phones in bowls of ice cream and I also was thinking of adding the DTD Italian place. I am so glad that we have plenty of days to see the 2 parks, we can take our time!

I got some tuxes for the boys on ebay and I finally had a change to give them to the boys today. They were surprisingly excited and we had fun trying them on. Then I went to get DD3 from the neighbors and when I came back, they were both wearing the tuxes, had found black sunglasses and were making silly poses. It was really funny! I love my teens!!!!
They are really good sports for mom!

The deal I got on ebay was FANTASTIC, and well worth the money. I paid about $90 total for 2 tuxes, including shirt, vest, bow tie, pants and jacket. That cost included shipping too!

They are by no means high quality, but they will work for what we need them to and even if we never wear them again, they have saved me money as it was a lot less expensive than renting!

OH, another shopping update...

I finally made it to Walgreens today to try to get the Neutrogena sunscreen special...I found the sale items along with the free sunscreen stick but none were packaged with a little tube, then when I was in the cosmetic section, they had a display set up and there were only a few tubes left with the bonus package. Yippee, so I got my deal. Plus the make up I was looking for had 50% off AND the clerk came over and said that she had $1 off coupons for all the make up I was buying. So I got a GREAT deal on everything! Thanks for the tips everyone!

We order the cards with the minimum amount of points on them. Then we can move the points over right before the trip. I think my last billing cycle ends on the 10th and we leave on the 11th! Perfect!
