I know, these last few days go so slllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww


Thats what I call annoying time, I often have had a day at MCO to kill last day if the vacation, get to MCO at 8.45am flight 5pm.

We have booked the Hyatt on thoose days, so we can use the rooftop pool, rest, do check in and lunch, go around the shops back and forth,

I saw lots of DCL cruisers last time doing the same.

DTD is a little way away, its doable, but you do not have a lot of time, with your flight, maybe florida mall shopping is an option, This time on the 22nd I have a villa from about 2pm or 4pm, so we are going to kill time at seaworld, which is included with our Discovery Cove booking on the 23rd.

Thanks Andrew. We have done the day room before and have done all those things you have mentioned. The only reason we weren't sure this time is because our flight gets in at 4:00 p.m. on Friday the 14th and we are staying at the Hyatt that night before the cruise and will do the pool, shopping and have dinner. So we thought even with a day room on the way home we might be bored, but then again is would be relaxing and non stressful then if we were to rent a car. We will probably just do a day room. Thanks again for you help, now lets hope they still have some available.

Pulling the last of the stuff together for packing - got to run into town tow shop are Target.
Hubby is packing
Mom is stressing

Kristin - glad to hear the weather is going to be calm. Keeping my fingers crossed.

DH is feeling better -

It honestly, is a CT thing that is what we are doing here today as well....Bruce, just got from the VET with the cat...for his yearly check-up.........Then he is waiting our friend to come so he can show him the lawn-mower, etc. He is going to cut our grass twice while we are gone then he is going to the pool store, to get gas for the lawn mower, and will cut the hedges one last time. Then more packing. Then Lobsters and Steak out by the pool tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to get my FE"s packaged, do my shirts,make magnets, etc!

No pool here, but steaks on the grill tonight o

Our dog gets his yearly check up when we drop him off for boarding
The vet also does boarding, so we do the shots and exam when we go on vacation

Was there yesterday and he got his boarbordetella shot

Just printed what I think is the last magnet for this trip(maybe) , and the teeshirts are printed, Tomorrow transfer image to shirts,
They are in the laundry today

Well as per normal, Tipping is personal, but i know thats not a good answer, but each person will do what they want.

On short DCL trips I think $1>$2 per person to the guide and / or driver is ok. Full day ones might need a bit more, it will depend on personal attension detail help.

Now on some trips by bus/ /boat/ guide there will be tip boxes everywhere, I consider they have been paid, so a little token if they do a good job say $1>$2 in the box.

Now, if you were in the Med, and touring Rome, and someone was a personal guide, you might tip 10%, but on our trips I cannot see a need to tip to high.

We've never been there before and thought it looked fun. My DH doesn't want to go (he doesn't like heights ), so it would just be me and my DS. what do you do at the top other than enjoy the views?

The Paradise point-Sky ride as well as good views has a couple of bird shows, a nature walk, a few shops cafe, I was thinking of that as a back up, funny I do not like heights when I cannt see whats supporting me so cables not to popular on me, but did it all aorund in Barcelona.

I think however the ladies want to do shopping in the afternoon.

I think we will tip the guide and driver on the ST Island tour, and in the Tortola one it will also be boat there/back, maybe guide at the Baths, small amounts nothing to much say max a $1 pp.

Took the car in for an Oil change and of cource it always more than planned to spend, This time the Serpentine belt ware indicted it was time to be replaced. Multiple cracks , but I can't really compain, aveage ware is 30,000 to 60,000 miles and and I at 65,000 and it was still working, but could have gone in the next 3 -5,000 miles judging by the cracks.

With a 2000 round trip coming up in a couple days I wasn't going to take a chance.

How is it I have been flicking back and forth at Two Palms Web Cam for the past 20 minutes and still haven't seen the MAgic! It did leave around 20 minutes ago right?!

Packing frenzy here, we leave in the morning for the airport, and then fly on Monday. Got hair cut and coloured today and DH FINALLY finished the DIY!

So looking forward to landing in Orlando on Monday evening!
