Totally!!!!!! Ben cannot stop talking about Disney. He has studied the maps (he knows them by heart and did not need to study them), he has reviewed all the counter service menus I made, he talks about what rides we will do and what he will buy, etc! I cannot get him to stop! DD is excited too but she is a bit more reserved!

We just got back after spending the afternoon at my SIL's pool - it was a beautiful day today!!!!!

Worked at confirming some things today: our Poly reservation (just to be sure everything was correct after the mix up) and car rentals.

Need to confirm things tomorrow: the catamaran excursion and the tour on St. Thomas.

Pre-ordered our PhotoPass CD for our WDW stay. Still need to order the water to be delivered.

Cut DH's hair today but need to bring DS in for a cut tomorrow. DD has decided she needs PINK highlights in her hair??? Whatever...guess she is doing that on Wednesday. My hair is going to have to be good the way it is!

Had finished all my magnets but then thought of a new set I want so tomorrow I will laminate those.

DS's suitcase is done and closed. DD is still figuring it all out. I will be done as soon as one more load of laundry is done. DH...who knows!!

I am scared about the 5K on Castaway Cay...I think all the training I did caused a stress fracture in my leg. I might add a quick trip to the doctor before I go!

Leaving on Thursday at 5:45 AM!!!! I had best get my act together and really focus these last couple of days!!!

Sorry your leg is still painful. With the dreadful weather we have had here I have done way less training than I planned and if I am honest I KNOW I will do the CC5K but I am pretty sure I will largely do it at a brisk walk. I was getting stressed about the jogging and DH kept saying - "This is a holiday, don't make it stressful for yourself!" Plus I know if I walk with just a bit of jogging I can take the camera (it's a bulky DSLR so not really great for running with) and I will hopefully get some good shots of around Castaway Cay.

Anyway, the rambling bit of that all leads to me saying, if you still want to do it but are not able to do much jogging, you won't be all alone!

380lb - that sounds llike a lot of stuff!

We will be away for 17 nights but our baggage limit is around 150lb plus a little in carry on. I hope we can stay within it!


I have booked my hair cut for Saturday, colour and cut although I am thinking of having a drastic cut but I might chicken out! Isabelle is having only the second hair cut of her life (she is 4) on Thursday. She tells me I should ask Michelle (our hairdresser) to take off only as much as the width of her little finger! I am thinking more like 3 inches off! Olivia does not have enough hair to cut and Darren does his own as he has it shaved (to hide the fact that he is going bald LOL)

380 pounds? WOW!!! I bet you were surprised! When I think about it though, I can see how it happens. Even though we are traveling "light"...our 4 little suitcases weigh A LOT! Good thing they do not weigh carry on bags!!!!

I am planning on still doing the 5K but I totally agree with your DH ... NOTHING on the vacation should be stressful and if I have to walk it all (very briskly), that is fine! I am planning on still doing it though because I worked so hard and I NEVER thought that I could run all that I have.

Ben LOVES to plan things out - especially when it is Disney. He is like me in MANY ways and it is pretty funny!

When do you leave Mel? It can't be long now. I should have made a chart on the website with all our departure dates (and dates that we will all be back home)

I think it is great that your husband is so organized with the pins. He would be crushed by my pin organization abilities! We tried a bit of pin trading early on but just never did a bunch of it. Now our pins are in different boxes, I have no clue who has what and we don't do pin trading any more. The kids actually have a few really good pins...but I wouldn't even know where to find them or know whose they are. I was so NOT organized with the pin trading.

That's funny, Janeanne! My one packing accomplishment this past weekend was having the family each prepare their pin lanyards!!! Too many pins to wear them all, so they picks some faves to display on their lanyards, plus I gave them each a few traders (DH included!). I love how even my 16yo son was studying his pins in earnest - he is insisting we bring our entire pin book, in case he want to show it off! I have agreed to indulge him on this!

We're not leaving until night of the 13th - my birthday! We'll drive down to the inlaws that night, take them for a Wishes Cruise on Friday night for their 50th anniversary, maybe dinner at Downtown Disney (with some pin trading, of course!). Yikes, that makes for a late night on the 14th - I want to be at the port bright and early Sat!

We will also not be leaving until the 14th, and I will be working up until the 14th....I am planning on doing alot of the final packing this weekend...I need to leave some days right before the trip to get my parents set so they will not need anything while we are gone.

5k - well I am with anyone who said that its a vacation...I am not planning on running, I don't want to miss any of the beautiful island so I will be walking..

Elin is in Band Camp all week, so its been pretty quiet around here so far this week.

Update from here, while magnets are printed, teeshirts still need to be, assemble FE underway, Trip guide for drive down and back still needs to be updated. That and 4 more days of my day job, and 2 more nights and Sat and Sun at my part time job to go.

Next Tuesday, pets to boarding, and packing.

Weds 9 Am, On the road again plays in the CD player and off we go.
