THANKS !! I got MAIN DINNER !!!:cool1::worship::banana:
But, I only got PALO for Tuesday ( Pirate Night ) @ 6:00 p.m. :confused3
Oh well..I'll try to change it upon boarding. :surfweb:

1/ Congrats

2/ Palo Dinner at 6pm on pirates night is not bad at all...

Firstly pirate type food is repeated at the deck buffet later so you do not miss out 'too much'; at dinner, yes is a fun event at dinner, but the food is 'ok' ish, imho.

At 6pm you will be out by 8pm/ 8.30pm, for either the show, and the deck party at 9.45pm.

Ed, I love the advice!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 hahaha!
Kristun, Gina, Mel---I got the Wii Active on too. It seems like it's going to be more challenging than the wii fit. So far I've used it 2 days. I'm trying to do the 30 day challenge too. Good Luck everyone doing it:)

Hi everyone! Well, most of you don't know me. I was just in the neighborhood :) and wanted to stop by and say hello! Gees, I haven't been on the Dis in many months, and coming here depresses me because I won't be on this cruise with you! :sad1: Is Samantha still going? Did she graduate from high school yet?! Hope you are all doing well. I miss this place! I hope you all have a wonderful cruise! :grouphug:

The day after I cancelled my cruise because my family was coming in from Italy, I received an email from them saying they are not coming until 2010.:scared1::scared1:
I called DU and they put me on hold and called Disney to try to reinstate my reservation. Sadly, it ended up where it would have cost me $1200 more plus loss of my $300 onboard credit. My room had already been given up, so I would be in cat 11 gnty. I declined. I am pretty stunned about the news that they changed their minds to next year. I knew it was a possibility. I should have just stayed with my plans and then just saw them when I could. I might take my plane tickets and see if I can switch to the week before that I have off and maybe use my DVC points. I am so sad about my cruise.:sad1:

Oh my gosh your not making us do anymore work so please do not be sorry at all. We had said the deadline was June 5th so no need to be sorry at all.
I honestly want to have a final number anyways too!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason I asked about quilting is Heather and I thought it would be fun to make a quilt using the signatures from the characters. Here is our thought we would have the squares and have the characters sign them and then if there was a way include a picture or two on a sqaure of the kids, etc. Then assemble the quilt. I am not sure how to assemble the quilt but maybe I can find someone I could pay to assemble it for me???!!!!

Any ideas about the quilt I would soo appreciate it. We thought this would make a GREAT memory rather than the traditional autograph books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool!!! I love to quilt. Not an expert - by a long shot - but absolutely love it. You have my creative juices flowing already.

We can talk on the cruise. I am thinking sort of a 'crazy quilt' concept. Do you know what it is? Lots of oddly shaped scraps all pieces together. They are victorian and it would include 'silks' from prayer books, any little scarp of fabric or embrodery that meant something.

But I resist with all my might doing the final quilting - I farm it out. I only like the piecework. You can find ladies in your commnity who will do it for you by the sq ft. I think you were upstate NY - do you have any mennonite communities nearby?

Definitely! Kie lives and breathes baseball and loves all sports. He devoted a huge amount of time on our last cruise to the sports deck!

We did the 10U tournament in Cooperstown two years ago; it was a wonderful experience! And...I LOVE the low walls around the field - great for picture-taking!!!!:rotfl: I'm so sick of trying to shoot between the fencing!:headache::laughing:

The Ripken and Rehoboth tourneys all have great reviews - as well as the Disney ones. Alas, except for Ctown, our coach does not like to travel, so we play local. Now, having said that, we just played in NC, and have two more "Away" (ie, need a hotel) weekend tourneys coming up. Just the way our schedule worked out.

:scared::scared:Ok - have to admit it. The only stress I ma feeling about thsi trip is that it spans BOTH weekends ot the Little League Workld Series. I love top visit Williamsport and watch the event - at least one of the weekends.

Oh - well next year....

Anyone with kids that can make the trip - It is a great time. You'll all love it!!:yay:

Hey I love it too. Let me know how you like it I am half way through the thirty day challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jen,

Our friends would like four landyards as well. I would presume you want everyone to send you money before the cruise. Just let me know....!!!!!!!!!

Hello! I will put them down for 4 and add it to the web the next time I update.

Don't send money before the cruise...I will pay for them right now and people can pay me on the ship

I plan on setting up at a table right after the life boat drill or at the sail away party. People can swing by to see me and pick up their lanyards. If people want to hang out in my area and meet one another...great. If people want to grab their lanyards and go....great.

It is easier than having people send me just a couple of bucks and I am SURE I will be able to put the money collected to use on the ship! :rotfl:

Happy Thursday Everyone! :)

I feel like I am missing out on some of the posts because it is so busy right now with school ending. It is crazy trying to finish grading, pack up my classroom and hunt for a job! :confused3 Just want everyone to know that I am updating our web site with the information as I read it still...just don't have much of a chance to respond here!

Next week there is no school and I will have much more time on my hands! Talk with you all soon!

Hi Abby :wave2:

The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: WOW !! Ed , I really LOVED your post !!! Terrific !! Made me laugh a lot !!!! :rotfl::rotfl: and ;) EAT SOME GORGEOUS CHOCOLATES , feeling I was doing the RIGHTEST thing ever !!!!!!:laughing:

 Maybe most of you on here SHOULD START  learning and speaking another language ???? I volunteer :) to teach you all my ITALIAN !!! :rotfl:

laura :yay:

Laura, both my husband and mother and father in law speak Italian. They lived in the La Spezia area for years. They are looking forward to meeting you and your husband. We have gone over to Italy to visit a couple of times and I can't wait to go back. We are just waiting for the girls to get a little older so they can appreciate all of the museums and churches we will be dragging them through!

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

CONCLUSION

Kristin,
What a great Idea....I don't quilt, but there should be someone around your area that does. When my oldest daughter went to college I gathered all of her old t shirts from her sport, theater, and band events that we had saved and called the senior center in town to find someone that would be able to do a quilt with them. It really turned out great and she still loves that quilt.

Marco and I will be more than happy to have some Italian chats with your family !!!
Can you "understand" some Italian words ?

CIAO !! Say " ARRIVEDERCI A PRESTO " to your husband and in-laws !!!

Laura
I haven't spoken any Italian since 1985 and even then, it was based on what I remembered as a kid. So I'll just be a "lurker" to your Italian conversations!! :rotfl2: (luckily, most of my cousins speak English when they visit!!..). Although I'd love to re-learn....
Counting down the days til our vacation...
