Good Morning Laura (although I am sure it is not morning there!:rotfl:)

I feel bad that I did not update the website and the blog these past couple of days...I have been crazy busy but promise to get to it tonight. I know that brings you some cheer. :goodvibes

I have to figure out what time I can log in to book things this weekend. I am thinking it is at 11:00 p.m.? I am a morning person so I would rather get up early to do the booking...if I have to stay up later than 11:00 it might not happen.

We are going to try to book Palo for brunch and supper. I still have NO idea what we are going to do in St. Thomas :confused3 DH and I are going to have to get serious about planning that one.

If anyone has St. Thomas recommendations...we would love them! We want sand, sun, and a very little bill! :rotfl:

Hope your day is great! I am off to teach...

Jen

Jen,

Been to ST. Thomas a few times.......There are some WONDERFUL beaches.......Is that what you want to do???

We do not wish to reserve Palo though ( had too much of Palo on last cruise , DGH wants a break this time !!) ...
We only have to book excursions on Tortola :dance3: and St Thomas !! :dance3:

I'm getting EXCITED just thinking of it !!!!

What are you booking Mel ?

laura

We are doing the opposite to you! We are only reserving Palo and Flounders for our younger daughter. With two small children (4 years and 19 months when we cruise) I am not going to spend lots of dollars on excursions that may be too much for them to handle. We will do both St Thomas and Tortola on our own, then we can go at our own pace and know that if they have had enough we can just head on back to the ship!

Of course we are booking Palo because I LOVE Italian food - when I go out for dinner with DH or with my friends 90% of the time it is for Italian! You are very lucky to live there and have such a delicious national cuisine!

Hi Laura and Mel!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kristen,

How are you doing? I keep looking at stuff for the Fish Exchange. When are we calling the list finalised? I keep thinking about getting things and then I worry that some more people will join and I won't have enough of each thing!!!!

Also, are we having a set day for each person to leave their gifts or just a casual as and when we like type thing?

Gosh so many questions!!!

:goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes For some reason when people say they love Italian cuisine I feel so proud !!! I'm sure you will have a wonderful time at Palo !!!!

As for the FE thing : I would like MHO to let everyone choose WHAT DAY / WHAT TIME to "deliver" our little gifts ...
I especially love SURPRISE ( not a fixed day )... and :woohoo: with all the activities going on each day on the Magic , I guess people will be busy in different times /ways ... I'll go with the flow though ... :thumbsup2

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND all of you .... ;););) even if you wake up at 5.00 AM or...:rolleyes1 stay on your PC until 1.00 AM !!!!!!!!!

HAPPY Palo-escursions booking !!!! laura :dance3:

We are totally beach people! :cool1: When we get to St. Thomas, we want to be at a beach (not necessarily one for snorkeling - but that is not bad either). We want a place where we can just hang out, enjoy the sun and water and relax. We want it to be a cheap day - not a huge expense for transportation. I have been looking at other sites about using the local bus system and think we might give it a try but have no clue about what beach to choose.

Any suggestions?

Jen

Hi All,

When booking Palo reservations Sat night are there any tricks that I need to know or will it not really matter? We are looking to book both dinner and brunch.

How fast do these reservations go?

Thanks for all of your help...

Andrew posted a great thread a while back about booking Palo \ excursions. I will look for it for you but one thing I do remember is that there are two confirm stages, you confirm the time and day and then have to confirm to finalise the reservatiion, so make double sure you have done both or the reservation won't be logged.

@ St Thomas go to Meagains bay, you can do it by DCL, or by Taxi its easy and cheap $5pp a great beach, you will have to pay for entry and bed.

As above as Mel says if you want full background read my post

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2166280

Things go fast.......... to its best you read and understand and can do it on auto pilot, it the early hours.....

Three sections

Palo Shore trips Spa, for those with toddlers flounders opens up as well as a fourth button.

You will be given various options, different meals ,different ports etc, I suggest you toggle down, to cut the screen down to what you want.

Click in whose name to book, that opens up all other eligible people, you can click 'all',

As Mel Says, for things like Brunch remember as you select the meal, then you have to confirm, it will stay unconfirmed otherwise and someone else can take it, this is why people think they have it and its gone. You haven't got it until you get a reference number come up.

That should be something like DM (your reservation number) and another number.

Care DO NOT log into your reservation until 00.00, do not do it!!!

If you do, it will say you are not paid in full, or someone else is accessing your reservation.

You can log into DCL site in advance, and get onto my reservation page, where it says retrieve reservation, anytime, but not get the reservation before 00.00 internet time.

I am so confused! I know I should not be...but I am!:upsidedow

Is it TONIGHT (Friday night turning to Saturday for us) the night to book?

I am confused because I was thinking I book on Saturday night. The problem is that when I look at my countdown it says..91 days. This would mean that TONIGHT I would be booking. Am I right? Am I wrong? Am I going crazy from trying to plan all this right now? (the answer to that one is yes :rotfl:)

HELP!
