Just about to hop into the bath for a relaxing soak. Going to give myself a facial and attempt to do my nails - my manicure hasn't lasted at all well this week!! Ah well, you just can't get the staff nowadays...

Just listening to 'Going To California' by Led Zeppelin and reminded of our upcoming August vacation!!! Ed, have you decided if you're going to head on over to Disneyland this summer???

Just listening to 'Going To California' by Led Zeppelin and reminded of our upcoming August vacation!!! Ed, have you decided if you're going to head on over to Disneyland this summer???

I will know for sure in a couple of weeks, but we are leaning against it now. Maybe stay closer to home and spend a few weeks at the lake, and take the savings for not going to CA and apply that to paying down some of this cruise. a win win for me.

Oh yes! She's on faculty at a college and I had it sent there - they pulled her out of a meeting, too!! So there was the extra "WOW" factor of having it sent in front of her peers, etc.

Harry- I'm glad she gave you a "nice" present as well. My DH and I were not going give anything, but he came home with a beautiful card. I was shocked!!

I did the same thing to my wife, brought home Chocolates as a surprise.

Just got home from my dr. from my surgery and things are headed in the "right" direction...

The twins,, are going to be very excited. We had ordred a ton of stuff from American Girl on Monday and it all arrived here today...It is going to be like Christmas when they get home...LOL!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone - Happy Friday!

By the lack of activity here yesterday - I trust everyone had a nice Valentine's Day & Valentine's Night!!

If you're referring to sitting on the couch, watching tv (which is a rarity for me) then yes, it was nice! Glad to hear your DW was surprised! Last night DH was complaining because he said I'm hard to buy for. Uh, FLOWERS!! What's so hard about that?! Pick up the phone, get out a credit card, and voila. Maybe next year I can stress to him some more.........FLOWERS!!!

Hi Nikki! Doin' pretty well here - 3 day weekend coming up!!

What, does everybody have Monday off?! I'll be thinking of all of you when I'm sitting at my desk at 7am grumbling about having to be there!! But wait......if I'm sitting there then it means I'm not sick. The flu is going around there. On second thought, I'll be thrilled to be at work Monday!
