So true!! I was lucky my parents got divorced when I was 8. After that life was pretty sweet. But the damage was already done. Things could have never turned out any better though. I've since had wonderful step-families. (don't know how else to word that. )

My parents definitely should've divorced - as it was, they stuck it out to the bitter end!!! Sadly, my Mother died of cancer at 50 and that was that. My father promptly rewrote history and acted as tho' their marriage had been made in heaven which was way more than I could handle...

Thanks! I never thought I'd be upset about not having surgery, but when the doc called Monday to cancel, I was. But it is for a good reason, so things always work out for the best!

I guess you have to psych yourself up and when it's cancelled, it's such a let down... Got to get those iron levels up!!!

The meet is Friday - Sunday.... we actually have to pull everyone from school on Friday..... He swims Friday. Then we will stay over and then do some shopping on Saturday. Sunday is the hockey game. I'm not going to moan about the shopping part because I usually make out pretty good - got my Mac there last year.

How come there's tax-free shopping in Delaware??? Sounds very attractive...

Obviously I'm biased towards soccer. I'm excited to be able to coach my daughter for the first time this fall (after all these years of coaching boys)!

Oh, I see - that must be very cool on large Mac purchases! The new laptops look luverly... We have 17.5% tax added to everything, everywhere in this country (there are certain exclusions - including children's clothes and books, I think... ) That's why so many Brits like coming to the US for retail therapy - with or without the helpful exchange rate, things are so much cheaper...
