G'nite Kristen...

... I wuz cruising past and saw this only 15 minutes ago - and your green lite was still on... So I'll be glancing backwards a little to see whats been going on here lately... :surfweb:

Winds,, tomorrow over 50 miles an hour!!!!!!!!!!!

We're doin' Disneyland tomorrow. We picked up a spare ticekt for DL and have invited one of Juliannas' girl friends to join us. We have annual passes so can go often.

The weather today was unusally beautiful today. Warm in the 70s and sunny... mild breezes and neutral humidity as usual. SO tomorrow sould be gorgous.

DS is watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp. I've never seen it. How can hunky, manly POC man be such a soft-spoken, wimpy guy in this movie??! I guess not much different than Edward Scissorhand. DH says "It's called acting". He's one heck of an actor!!

This is precisely what we're watching right now on HD. It followed the Charlie Brown Valentines program.
And may I add - that beyond the terriffic performance Johnny put on - the whole flick is "candy" for the eyes!
The production qualities are simply terriffic!

Thanks Abby!! It's been a little crazy- the wierd thing is my DFIL has actually had a heart attack in the past year- and didn't even know it. He was going in for an out patient surgery on his eye, and when they were prepping him, they discovered:confused3 he had scar tissue, etc. Then they tested and found out about his heart. :confused3

I must say...

... it's fascinating how medical science discovers these things - and manages them. My father had a trans-ischemic (Misspelled most likely) attack which is also referred to on the street as a "baby heart attack". These TIAs are serious events - however - also good omens as they permit folks to be made aware of their risk and need for managment.

Hey everybody! Went to Walmart then Outback for dinner, mmmmmm! It was good. My DH and I took my nephew that is 17 months- what a handful!! :scared1: I don't think my SIL and BIL take him anywhere. My BIL's mother passed away this morning(very unexpectedly-complete shock actually) so we were trying to help out. Plus my DFIL has had 6 stints(sp??) put in his heart last week- so my DMIL is taking care of him. Whewwwww!!:scared1:

We're sorry to hear of this Nikkie. We've had so many folks as of late sharing that they've had health issues take bad turns - it's somber.

One of the pre-school teachers has taken medical leave due to Crones Disease. She's been under management for over a year and had no results... so she just took off last week. She was in her twentys. And, an old friend of ours had kidney cancer. Sort of got the upper hand over it after surgery last year - but now it seems maybe they didn't get it all.

It seems its' times like these that make me pause to reflect on how precious the times we have now are.

Harry,

WINDY, WINDY, WINDY, HERE!!!!!!!!!!! It is snowing tooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No snow here yet and with forecasts going back up to around 50 by the end of the week I suspect we will go another winter week with no snow....

We're headed for a day trip to NYC on 2/18 to do some shopping, etc. - hoping that temps stay reasonable and snow stays away a bit longer! We're also planning on doing the Star Wars thing in Philadelphia on 3/7 (yes, pulling the kids from school for the day, but it's "educational" so it counts as an excused absence believe it or not - no big deal they've only missed 2 or 3 days all year so far anyway).

Have you rescheduled your trip into NYC yet? Aside from the wind - today wouldn't have been that bad - at least it's sunny??

Off to get ready for Jake's soccer game....
