I wouldn't disagree with you there! Money & loads of women (who were replaced with younger women as he aged) - yeah, doesn't sound too bad.

You aren't rubbing it in! We may get away for a couple of days in July but other than that, this 2009 cruise is our next vacation, so I shall live vicariously through you!

Today is my MIL's birthday and also one of my grandfathers was born on this day.

My oldest brother was almost born on Feb29, in 1944 but Mom held on until March 1

The crazy schedule stress is behind us now... we're just so used to it.

I can understand that now that I think about it. Last year was the first year both kids were in multiple things at the same time. But I guess we did sort of become used to it.

hello everyone!!!! Abby, im glad to hear that Gwynne is getting better well im on for a short amount of time because im going to see a Ballet, Romeo and Juliet, as a project for my 2nd High School. i hope everyone is doing well. the weather is cold and posible snow storm nd rain tonight i hate the cold,i hate the snow LOL but i do love the spring and the summer cause i love the warm/hot weather. im watching the Disney Cruise on the travel channel right now as im getting ready LOL. im so excited for this cruise!!!!

The funeral tomorrow will be my first real funeral. I'm not sure what to expect. Tomorrow afternoon my in-laws are taking the kids to see Nemo on Ice. Then we are all meeting at Olive Garden for dinner to celebrate my MIL's birthday. Other than that we aren't doing anything.

DH saw the surgeon today, who told him due to the nature of his job, he will be off work for 6 weeks. Thank goodness he has about 18 weeks of sick time!! I'm going to try to schedule my surgery 5 weeks in to his recovery, that way he won't have to take additional time off for me.

Wow!!! You've really having a tough few months, Abby! Hope the funeral goes OK - my guess it will be an emotional event due to the circumstances...

Nemo on Ice sounds cool - bet the kids enjoy that!

As for your husband's surgery - 6 weeks is a long recovery! Fingers crossed it all goes well and both of you are back on your feet before too long...

...I went to the dr. this morning . I have an upper respitory infection..They, have to watch this carefully due to my past history of collapased lungs.. I've got some yucky cough meds. though!!!!!!!!!!

...I'm doing fine. Tired but that's always the case for parents with sick kids! As I was telling someone at work today, things could ALWAYS be worse. We are doing fine. Right now I am seriously dreading tomorrow though. My dad was saying today that my cousin, aunt, and the rest of the immediate family are absolutely devastated. So I cannot even imagine the emotions that will be going on tomorrow. At my grandfather's viewing in '05 it was weird. Everyone was mingling, laughing, it was a very lively crowd. That was my first real experience with a viewing. But they had the funeral in MI so I didn't go. Sorry to keep babbling about this.

It's only natural, Abby! You're anxious about the funeral and who wouldn't be...
