Thurs. the kids are going to eat with DH's parents, so we can go out to dinner alone. Then Friday evening we have my niece coming voer to babysit for 3 hours so we can go out with friends. We rarely ever (about once a year) get to do this, so it ought to be fun!!

How far away do you have to go for the test?

That sounds nice... Are you going somewhere good to eat??

No, I had to go about ten minutes down the road for the test not even probally more like six. It was fast!!!!!

Hope, everyone is having a GREAT MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rotfl2: Karen!! Harry and I were successfully containing ourselves, and here you go and voice what we were thinking. :rotfl: You naughty woman. :rotfl:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well they swipe the KTTW key when you get on and off the ship, I think at customer service they swipe it to add the tips for housekeeping, so I think you are wrong, there are places you can use it for tips :worship: :worship: :worship: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Hi! Just back from NYC.... took a chance with the weather, but DD & DW stayed behind. It was raining when we left around 8AM, but then the sun came out and the temps were in the 60s! I have to go back tomorrow and I hear that it will be FREEZING!! At home right now - there are nasty dark clouds on one side and those huge, white thunder-head clouds on the other... it looks like a summer T-storm is approaching!!

Anyhow - the boys got what they "needed" from Nintendo World and I picked up a few things at WOD (mostly Mickey chocolate bars which, according to DD & DW, are the best on the planet!!). Hit the M&M store for some snacks for the ride back, too. Yummy NYC pizza for lunch and then we were gone as fast as we got in!

For those thinking about a trip to the WOD store - they are having a Broadway & Sea event going on for the next several weekends... Jack Sparrow...er, Captain Jack Sparrow, will be conducting a Pirate Academy, some other characters are making special appearances and there lots of kids activities -color a tropical lei, create a princess accessory, face painting, and a Mickey drawing class.

Today's character was indeed Capt. Jack Sparrow! Jake was thrilled to say the least! We love going there - it's a time where we can almost imagine we are actually at WDW!

There's a Little Mermaid show coming up next week (I think they'll be performing a couple of songs from the show and then signing autographs).

Not too crowded today... obviously a federal holiday helped and I think the wacky weather kept a lot of people home. We didn't bring DD because of threat of nasty weather.... she's a handful on a dry, sunny day!! :rotfl: We'll probably head back, as a family, on an upcoming weekend. Next weekend is the last one for the Pirate Academy, but Tim has a swim meet so that's out. The following weekend, Mickey & Minnie will be there so I suspect that may work (weather permitting).

Off to the gym for me now....

Harry,

Sounds, like it was a productive trip into the city...

We went furniture shopping and got new stuff it is coming on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a fun day in the city,

I guess I must be one of the few people in the world that don't get excited by the whole pirate thing, and definetly not Capt Jack Sparrow

DW is super-jealous that she didn't come so I she already declared we are going back on March 1....

How did the furniture shopping go?

Having boys makes it kind of unescapable! Jake is our pirate (see below, with our princess). The thrill of his life was when he was picked by Jack Sparrow this past WDW trip to do the pirate training (this made up for his disappointment of being 'dissed by the Jedi Master at the Jedi Training Academy the day prior!!).

After seeing each of the POC movies about a dozen or more times each I have grown accustomed to Capt. Sparrow, but it took awhile...

So.... drink up, me hearties, yo ho!

Hey Everyone. You are such a chatty bunch I can't keep up!!!! We have decided to try and book a Mexican Riviera cruise. I'm just waiting for a return email from Dreams. It's the Aug. 10 sailing so I think I"ll be meeting some of our group from this sailing then! :cool1:

Happy president's day to all.

By the way, where is the Nintendo store in NYC? Never had a need for it before but now that my DD is 9 and we have a WII and a DS I think I'll be visiting on my next trip into the city.

It's in Rockefeller Center... about a block down from NBC... I just look for a couch and plant my butt in it and let the boys roam free... there's a ton of games for them play, etc.

Ooohh yummy!! I have to eat in the morning. Usually I don't eat until after I get to work, but I am usually munching on something around 7am (dry cereal, fruit or yogurt), then again around 10am (oatmeal bar or pretzels), then 1pm lunch. After that I'm good until dinner. In the morning I just have to get the metabolism going! :thumbsup2 If I don't eat then my blood sugar goes all haywire, and it's difficult to get it back up to normal if it gets too low.

Finally figured out this summers vacation:cool1:  We are going to Williamsburg Virginia. Just bought the airfare:surfweb: Its not a Disney cruise, but I am looking foward to it.

Very nice! We are also headed there this summer. We traded out of DVC for a week at Marriott's Ford's Colony. Have you been there before?

My DH and I went about 6 years ago, before we had our DD. We had a great time at Busch Gardens and Water Country. We also did some outlet shopping, it's about 3.5 hrs away from us, so a nice trip. Enjoy!!:goodvibes
