That's a river, John...lol.
Thank you for the photos.

God bless, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)

I thought about dropping by the tables on our way out but Kara was shaking from the cold so we made the trek to the car - thanks John

Erin and I rode the storm out in the loading area of Millenium Force - and then rode the ride too! It looked like Florida there for a while! :)

Thanks for sharing these, John. :)

I'm glad we snuck out early! Reminds me of a flood there a long time ago!

Thanks for braving the flood John to share these!

We went out and waited out the storm in the car. Then headed back in for a few more hours.

Cool pics, John! I was watching a show at the Centennial Theater when the rain began, so missed seeing most of it coming down. When the show ended and I saw people wading ankle deep through the midway, I decided to see the show one more time! When that show ended, the rain had stopped, and the "river" had drained. :)

It did look like a FL hurricane!!!! What a rain and blow also!!!!! Neat pictures, John.

If you like the pictures, you should see all the 20 second videos that I took. It reminded me of the title of the movie "A River Runs Through It".

Holy smokes!!!!! We were coming out of the parking lot at that time and thankful we hit the car when we did!!! Got a few drops on our way out but that was it. I felt so bad for Kara and Marla when we saw them at the hotel....did Kara's shoes ever dry Marla??!!!!

I guess I got lucky. I was in car when the hurricane came in. In case you care My yard still looks like CP's parking lot full of water.

That was quite an experience wasn't it John? I couldn't believe how much water there was on the floor inside the picnic shelter! We were all sitting up on the tables in order to try and stay dry. We had to move right into the middle of the shelter to avoid the worst of the water blowing in.
Thanks for sharing the pics of our monsoon.

That was on heck of a rain there!!!! It even was hailing too!!!! Glad that it didn't last too long and that we were able to catch one more ride after it too :)

It would be fun to see your 20 sec videos John! That was incredible wasn't it! It was funny too, because during all that blowing rain and flooding, a family plunked their slow cooker filled with hot dogs floating in (I would guess) hot water, right down beside me on that picnic table I'm sitting on and proceded to have dinner! Sarah and I just looked at each other in amazement!

Someone ask Dizneenut where we waited out the storm. I was quite content in a little store but NO she thought we could make it to the Skeeball...............Thanks Sherry! ;)
