And now a lake...lol.

Thank you, John, for the photos.

God bless, best wishes, and encouragement, RaySharpton:)

And I think the 'lake' was deeper in the parking lot - thanks John

We walked past quite a few park employess with super-size squeegies after the rains! The park rebounded quite nicely! :)

As an aside - when we returned to our campsite that night, our shoes were lined up neatly along the road. Apparently, the waters came rushing through our campsite about 1-1/2 feet deep and washed away the shoes we had left outside the camper door! Our next-door neighbor saw them floating away and rushed out in the middle of the storm to rescue them! She left them arranged for us when we returned, bless her heart! :)

I know the parking lot lake well Marla (I was much younger & didn't have to write these things down LOL)!

Sounds like CP magic Bernie!

Thanks for the memories John!

I thought about all of you down at CP when it started pouring up here - reminds me of a few WDW times - LOL.

I was wondering about you guys at the campground on Sat when it started raining and then Sat night when it must have rained during the night. Has anyone heard how Baboo faired on Sat????

We're alive!!! And finally dried out! Thanks for thinking about us Chris. It was pretty damp there Saturday night, but when we got back about 11pm everything was still standing and not as wet as Friday night since we had put tarps over the tents. We threw a few loads into driers and had cosy dry sleeping bags for at least the first part of the night. We were lucky that it stopped raining while we packed up and got out of there.

Campers are such nice people!

Amazing pictures, John! It's equally amazing how quickly they got the park dried out.

What a nice camper neighbour you had Bernie! She should be commended for her bravery in that storm!

Kathy, did you head on home or stop in Wheatley as you had planned? I didn't think it looked too promising out as we drove home. Glad to hear that your tent survived the storm.
