8:05 ADR at CRT & staying off-site - HELP!

We are staying off-site for an upcoming trip to Disney. I've snagged an 8:05 AM reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. One thing I was looking forward to was taking some photos of my girls on basically-empty Main Street prior to our reservation. However, it's my understanding that the monorail from TTC doesn't run but about an hour prior to park opening. That would hardly allow us time to get from the monorail station to the castle for our ADR, much less any extra time for photos.

Does anyone have an alternative that we could try for arriving at MK any earlier? We'll stay at MK all day until the girls tire out, then plan to return to the hotel for the evening.

Thanks in advance!
Susan

The express monorail doesn't start running until 8:00, but the resort monorail (which stops at both the TTC an MK) starts running about 7:00.

You have to pay to park in any case, so drive to the Contemporary and valet park there. That makes it fine to park there and head to the park for the day. It's about an 8 min walk over to the MK.

I saw on another site that the person was turned away from the Contemporary when trying to valet park. The attendant at the gate told them that there was no availability and they tried to explain they would PAY and were told NOPE. They then had to turn around and drive to TTC which made them late for their breakfast reservation.

Has anyone heard of that happening?? This was our plan a few days and we don't want to waste our time if that is the situation. We planned to valet park in the morning, go to MK, head back to our car and then come back to valet park in the evening because we have dinner reservations at Contemporary one night, Polynesian the other night and then Grand Floridian the last. We figured we would valet at one place and then use the valet for dinner that night.

Take a cab so your guaranteed to get there. Your other option would be to cab it to a Disney resort and use their bus.

A cab would drop you off at the TTC though. (Only resort buses can go up to the gates.) If you're going to take a cab, have it drop you off at the Contemporary and then walk from there.

Since you're staying offsite, a cab is going to range from expensive to ridiculously expensive, especially since you would need to take it round trip. You can look up the fare at taxifarefinder.com.

Or you can valet park at the contemporary. I've never heard of anyone being turned away. I suppose it could happen, but it would be exceptionally rare.

The easiest way would just be to park at the TTC and take the resort monorail to MK.

The only time that would happen is if there were to be a special event going on. It just doesn't happen very often.

This is the reason I always remind those staying off site to figure in transportation issues when booking on site ADRs.
