Hey all
This is my first time to really wander around the Family board but I am helping some friends of my plan a trip. Its dad, mom, daugher (21) and grandson/son (7). The 7 yo has type 1 diabetes and I was wondering about snacks/lunches/dinners/ect. Can anybody give me info on what you have gotten in the past. They will be on DDP and we are doing ADRs in buffets as it seems they can get a better selection of food and probably be able to control more what he eats. I know that the CS meal comes with a dessert, so any info is welcomed, pics as well! We have went on DDP but never really thought about this type of thing.

Thanks!

Just realized this might need to be moved to another part of the board.....mod sorry if I screwed that up!

You might want to post on the DISabilities board. What I think you'll find is that most people recommend letting the restaurants know about his diabetes. They're VERY accomodating, especially for diabetes - many sugar free desserts, and the knowledge to tell you what might be good choices for him. Disney in general is very good about accomodating special needs, just let them know. Good luck!

Ok I didn't think about posting it there! Thanks for your help!
