Becky is a lot better today thanks. She had an interview at college today for a Photography course which starts in September. She really enjoyed her interview. She was there for 3 hours, where they showed her around, she did some tests and told her what the course entailed. She said that the tutor was impressed with her portfolio, and she's been told that she will join the course if she gets 4 passes (she already has 2 passes )

Only one more day till the weekend ~ woohoo !!!

Gonna be a beautiful day here today...Too bad Ill be working until 4PM...
Oh well such is a working gals world

Mike was sooo nice to me yesterday...
When I came home from work, he had done the food shopping...AND had a steak all set to feed me for dinner...THEN he went out after and got me ice cream!..

I was on fries all day yesterday...Needless to say ..I got home and headed right for the shower..I felt sooo greasy..
It was fun though...a little crazy on the rush times...especially when the kids got out of the high school..., but I'll get use to it I'm sure

Well I'm off to get ready to go...

I can actually picture you working there in my mind.

I think you'd be a lot of fun to work with.

I know when Liz would work on fries that she would always complain that she came home smelling like a french fry

I have no idea yet what I'm going to do today but I'm sure that I will come up with something.

I need to check the weather forecast but it looks to be a lovely day here today too.

Paul and I are going to a couple of Rugby matches tomorrow, then we may go to the wine bar tomorrow night. On Sunday I am hoping we'll go to the cinema and see Knowing. The girls went to see it last night, and they thought it was good

Well so far today I've had breakfast, finished reading my book and did my income tax return forms (all ready to drop in the mailbox and we get money back )

Now I'm just checking out the boards and then I'm heading to the shower.

After that I will see what happens and take the day as it comes, no big plans.

It is a beautiful day outside here today

Right now I have nothing planned for the weekend but something will come along. It always seems to.

Mandy, glad to hear Becky is feeling better! How cool she's taking a photography class, I'd love to see a pic she's taken! Chad really enjoys his class, they were developing their pictures earlier this week.

Betsy, I understand how you feel! After working in a restaurant that served alot of fried chicken and another fast food place, it's amazing to how bad it can make you feel... but it was fun! Mike is such a romantical!! How sweet of him!

Robin, hope you are doing well! Enjoy your beautiful weekend!

Well I'm zipping off to Chad's soccer game! No big plans this weekend, just hope it's warm!

Paul & I had a great time at the Rugby matches yesterday afternoon, and I enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine last night (it's so nice that Kerry is able to take us and pick us up afterwards ~ bless her)

Today we've just popped into town, as Becky wanted to look around some clothes shops, and shortly I'll be making a start on dinner

We had a bit of snow overnight

It's already mostly melted away but that is definitely what I don't want to be seeing at this time of year.

We have had snow as late as into May before though.

Hello DWDQs,
I'm sorry I haven't been on much...But between work, and my PC having multiple viruses..I have been having a hard time getting on...
Mike has been working on the viruses...and it seems to be working now...

We had Doug and family over yesterday...I made Hot dogs, and chili...and we had sour dough bread with it...and Jodi(my DIL) brought a salad, and wine...
We had a very nice dinner...

Then off to work this morning at 7AM...til 2PM...
It was a fun day, I was on the grill all day..I like the grill...except for that fact that my back hurt after awhile...But Ill get use to that I'm sure...

When I got home Mike had all the laundry done for me...
I think he must be getting bored...LOL

It was snowy here too Robin,
This morning on my way to work. It stayed pretty cold here all day..only in the 30s...BUT tomorrow is suppose to up to mid 50s...
weird..

I'm off to spend some time with Mike..

I went to McDonald's for lunch today

I had the Mac snak wrap thingy.

It was pretty good.

Our snow has all melted away and I hope it all stays away now.

Robin ~ I had a McDonalds at the weekend too I had a Quarterpounder with cheese. We haven't had a McDonald's in ages (probably a year) and I really enjoyed it

I hope the weather is starting to get 'Spring-like' where you are. My fave flowers (Daffodils) are everywhere, I just can't wait for the sunny days to come back

A late good morning to you all! Still feels early to me!

Looks like you all had a great weekend and I see someone has a new ticker in their siggie!

We had a really good weekend, nice weather... we hung around the house cleaning up the yard, garage, and screenhouse. Can't wait to get outside more!

Chad had a great soccer game yesterday, they played a big school and won 4 - 1. This is their third game against some big schools and his team stands at 3 - 0. He also got his second hat trick! I'm so proud of him!

CW is on the coaching staff, we had an injury to our goalie (he received a terrible kick to his lower back)... CW & I ended up taking him to the emergency room. We waited an hour for his parents to show (the school was 1 1/2 hrs away) and then waited for his parents to let us know how he was. He has a laceration on his kidney and is hospitalized for a few days under observation.

We got home around 1 a.m. last night... I'm ready to go back to bed!

I hope you've had a nice day. I have. It has been a lovely Spring day today. I had a wander around town (didn't buy anything though) and then I went to see my friend Natalie in the afternoon

Today I went out for lunch with Liz.

Then I've just been hanging around the house since.

Oh, I got a really cool colouring/sticker book of Disney stories and disney stickers at the "Dollar" store. (not everything is a dollar there, so don't know why they call it a dollar store )

It supposedly has 700 stickers in it. The price was marked as $5.00 but she only charged me $1.00

Lots of really nice stickers too.

So that was my bargain for the week.

Tomorrow I have dance classes in the morning and I don't know what I will do for the rest of the day.

Very windy here today but the temperature is not too bad.

Hello my friends

Well, I'm off tomorrow.., and I thought Id finally be able to sleep in,
But I had to make an appt. to get my hair cut and colored..(I have been needing it for some time now)..and the only time they have open tomorrow, is 9:30am...So I'll have to be up dressed and out by 8:45...Oh well...Sa la vie
At least I got in..or Id have to wait another month.....My hairdresser, is very popular...

Thanks Robin, for the McDonalds support...LOL
I worked grill for the last two days, and then worked the fryer the last half of today...I like the grill better, but the fryer is easier on my back....
I have yet to be trained on the register, or assembly... although I have been helping with the assembly, when they get busy, and I have all the grill work done...

I was told by one of the managers yesterday, that the owner( she did my orientation) had high hopes for me...for a managers position in the future.. ...We will see if I'll be interested...
If I was one, Id be expected to go the other stores, and the training for it is classes in Philly... two or three times, three days each time before Id be advanced...

It was rainy here today..around 46 degrees.....but I didn't mind as I was too busy to see much of it....
Now when its nice and sunny, I'll be a little frustrated to not be able to be out in it...BUT I'll just remind myself that I'm working for my Maui vacation..and it will be worth missing a few sunny days here...

Hello ladies.

Today was dance class morning.

Then I stopped in at work and ended up going out for lunch with Rick and doing up a few things that were on my desk.

Since it was such a wonderful weather day today I came home and uncovered the fish pond. Now we will have a cold snap for sure

For dinner we bbq'd hotdogs and sausages.

My mom and I then went for a little drive around and got an icecream from McDonald's

That was pretty much the extent of my daily excitement.

Yippee, it's nearly the weekend, and it's also the school Easter Holidays

Becky finishes school today, and Kerry finished yesterday. So two weeks of getting up a little later, no washing uniforms, but having them under my feet
