What I can remember (missed some parts tonight, too).

Ruthie was harrassed at school about Simon. Her friend (Peter?) offered to let the bully beat him up for 3 minutes and then the bully wouldn't mention Simon anymore and would beat up anyone who did.

Simon is inisisting on moving away to college. He and his dad went to discuss his options at the school board and the fellow they met with is actually helping Simon achieve his goal. (Not what the parents want).

Simon's girlfriend gave the police man (the guy that is Rev. Camden's friend) a "tip" that he followed up on. He discovered that the boy Simon hit had smoke marijuana and that his brother had given it to him. The brother is so angry because it is just as much his fault as Simon's. The policeman shared this info with Simon -- Simon only. Simon appreciated it but I think he still wants to go away. He and the girlfriend are still fighting but she came over to babysit the twins and she was nice to Simon.

The policeman (cannot remember his name) also set Lucy's husband up to babysit his 6 year old granddaughter while he conducted the investigation. He and Lucy decided they aren't ready for kids.

Chandler is being pursued by all the women in the church. Lucy told this to his ex-girlfriend in the hopes of sending her back to him.

Mrs. Camden is off at her father's -- I'm not sure of the problem except that his dementia seems to have gotten worse.

That's what I remember off-hand.

I had heard earlier this year that Simon was wanting to go to college (in real life) and maybe this is a way to sort of phase him out like they did with Matt and Mary, though maybe with the her expecting, they are going to bring her back in to sort of fill up his place.

I love 7th Heaven

Yes Simon is leaving 7th Heaven. Not forever, but for a while. He is doing the first 5 shows (I think 5) and then he will appear like Mary and Matt do. I think he wanted to go to school...not sure.
