Oh my lord Disney Mommy! You and your family will be in my thoughts for sure!

How about something you can do with dad? An IOU for a night out to dinner, or tickets to a game/show/event you would enjoy together?

Good idea but not really feasible sadly. I live in Indiana now and he is still in Tennessee.

I suggested gift cards but you could tell he wasn't very excited about that idea. It's just, everything I NEED is expensive. New kitchen knives, a new computer... stuff like that. I would love to get an ice cream maker, but those are not cheap either. And I do NOT need just "stuff". I don't have enough room for the stuff I already have!

Hi everybody!! First off… I am not getting notifications from this thread for some crazy reason… Secondly…we have had a most devastating and crazy last 2 weeks. I had been having some back pain that comes and goes, have a sprained foot that is FINALLY better after a podiatrist appt this week. The back X-rays came back fine, but they found a small (?) kidney stone which is supposedly NOT causing the back pain. Was told to get a deep tissue massage, which really helped so much yesterday. My Husbands best friend dropped dead of a heart attack Sat morning and he had his funeral this afternoon. My hubs preached the funeral and so that was super hard. Then, Sun night he was packing to go the Bahamas to a conference with Dr Myles Munroe and as we are packing got the sad news that their plane had crashed and he and his wife had died. This has been so devastating…I think he is really still in a state of shock. So, if you think about it, would you pray for our family? And when at the Dr this week, found out my dd11 has strep throat. We have vacation next week and NEED to be well. I missed this yesterday unfortunately because we were sick! So, let's pretend (AGAIN) that you are seeing this on Thursday!!! : 6 WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!!! 2 WEEKS UNTIL THANKSGIVING!!!!!

So sorry for the horrible past couple weeks. Hugs to you and your family. I hope you have a great vacation - because you and the husband definitely need it!!

One kiddo sent me a list, oldest ds says I'm getting it today and I am going to have to bug youngest ds!!
Have made a little more progress:

• My mom and Dad: a subscription to a wine club, from the winery at dd's university-they'll get 4 bottle of wine three different months.
• My mom: a basket I bought from school auction, with “stamping” products. My mom makes her own cards, does albums, etc.
• My Dad: Wolfermans English muffins
• My sister:
• My sister's SO
• Nephew 19: Walmart GC. He's supporting himself and attending junior college.
• Nephew 17
• Nephew 15: sharing a soda stream with nephew 14
• Nephew 14: sharing a soda stream with nephew 15
• My brother: probably a SWA GC

As I have said, I also do stockings at our house as well as my extended family. My new thing this year is only putting consumables in stockings (either food or toiletries, etc)
I have the items for my sisters family who are out of town: I bought jerkey, pralines, plus the laundry pods for oldest nephew.

DD wants Naked Palette 1. It's currently $54 at Ulta. Has anyone ever seen it go on sale? I'm guessing it can be found at Sephora or Macy's as well. If it doesn't go on sale, I'd rather just get it now and be done with it.

Has anyone tried or seen the hot tub in the Target add? I was thinking of trying it for dh. We've wanted a hot tub for a long time, but aren't sure we'll really use it.

I am looking at the hot tub at Walmart for my hubby. I wasnt planning on spending 300 on him, but I know he would love it. I've heard that the inflatable hot tubs are pretty good. I just want to make sure it can be plugged into a regular outlet and not need a special outlet installed like a normal hot tub.

This is a really useful thread! Especially when trying to come up with ideas for nieces and nephews I don't see very often.

I've only shopped for my own two boys (ages 5 and 17mths) so far, but I'm pretty much done with them! Yay!

Their "big" gift this year will be the reveal for their first Disney trip, which will be in early January. I ordered them each some loot from the Disney Store, which came in a great big box with Mickey on the inside, so I'm going to wrap their Disney-focused gifts and put them back in the box with a couple of balloons for them to open together. Of course ds1 won't really understand what it all means, but hopefully he'll enjoy the balloons while ds5 flips out!

Gifts for ds5: (from me/dh) his Mickey ears, a pirate costume (for Pirates League), a plush Goofy, a Mickey blanket, autograph book, Mickey/Donald/Goofy tee, sunglasses, pjs, puffer vest, a couple of other non-Disney shirts, and a Clifford Christmas book; (from Santa) Batman LEGO set, a couple of Amelia Bedelia books, a Melissa and Doug floor puzzle, a couple of Imaginext toys, the Despicable Me Fart Blaster (I'm sure I'll regret that one! ), Hot Wheels cars, PS3 game, and I'm probably still going to pick up a hoodie or cardigan, boardgame, and stocking stuffers (coloring book, crayons, sweets, play-doh)

Gifts for ds1: (from me/dh) his Mickey ears, a plush Dumbo, a Mickey blanket, an adorable Donald onesie/costume, pjs, a couple of non-Disney outfits, a Christmas book; (from Santa) toy mower, Megabloks, a farm toy, a book, a pop-up toy, a Wiggles plush/doll that plays music (ds1 is quite a fan of theirs!), Wiggles Christmas dvd, and I'm going to pick up another Disney shirt for him and stocking stuffers

Now I just have to buy for my 7 nieces/nephews, and my parents! Thanks for some of the ideas on here!

I've been looking at Sonicare toothbrushes for my kids and they are $49 on amazon. Not bad. But then I decided to check Kohls. They had them on sale for $49 as well but I have the 30% coupon this week and there is a $10 rebate per brush that I can mail in so I got 2 for $75, earned a $10 Kohls cash and will mail in for $20. YAY!

Picked up the Ninja blender at Costco for dh for $119.

Saw you guys talking about the inflatable spa. I've never heard of one before but I think I might need to pick one for dh! Thanks!

My 8 year old is getting a skateboard, AG clothes and tent, a Hello Kitty sleeping bag, a password box, a Boo (the cutest dog) stuffed animal, twisted peppermint bath gel and the soft Elsa and Anna dolls from the Disney Store.

Good luck. When you have more than one girl you end up with so much. I know it's difficult to think of stuff you don't already have!
