7DMT & Peter Pan before closing

Ok, so we booked a last min trip and couldn't get FP for 7DMT and I want to do queue for PP, so don't want to FP that.

Plan was next week when they had a midnight closing do those 2 things last and hope for minimal lines (like 30 min or less). This realistic?
Do they close lines early, or can we get in line a few mins before close?

Getting nervous because wait times have been crazy so far this week, i was expecting (and crowds calendars too) things to be tapering off.

It's possible. The later you can wait the shorter the lines get. Being AP's, we usually can't grab 7dmt at 30 days out so the best time to ride with a shorter wait we've found has been late at night. We've been a few times where it's been a 20-30 min wait.

Same here, you can easily do 7DMT in 20 mins late into the evening, the posted time is more than often exaggerated
