7AM EMH--What time does the security line start forming?

Just wondering from other people's experiences...if there is a 7 AM EMH, what time do the first people start to arrive at security? 6:15? earlier?

I don’t even know if there is a time anyone could definitively give you. I mean I’m sure there is an official time they will start letting people into DTD, but I’ve never been early enough to see it & I normally line up pretty early. Some people will be waiting at the park gates at least an hour before opening, some are probably even earlier than that.

Next question: Coming from the DLH....will I have access to Starbucks near ESPN Zone while waiting in the DLH -end security line? Or not until after I pass through security?

Security is open at 5am. You go thru security to get to Starbucks. There was no line at 5am...

Coming from DLH you don't have anything to worry about security backups are a problem for those coming from Harbor. Never waited more than 10 mins (on a sat evening that was!) for security at DLH. Starbucks is after you pass security. Top tip: Order on your Starbucks app as you approach security and grab and go! You can enjoy your coffee on the walk to the park gates! (ORDER FROM STARBUCKS DOWNTOWN DISNEY WEST. This is the little one by the monorail- the other is a complete zoo and time suck. Learned that one the hard way the first time we ordered!)

We stayed at DLH 9/17-9/23. We encountered a huge security backup on Tuesday when DL had a 9AM EMH. Saturday morning around 8am the line was also quite long. All other mornings there was next to no line at all.

I would aim to be in line at 6:30 for a 7 am... just because it is already so gosh darn early, the lines are shorter than like a 9 am opening.

Yes, both DTD Starbucks open at 5am.

Good Lord! I mean, I get up at 5:30-6 to get ready usually. I can't imagine being up and and ready to get coffee from Starbucks at 5 AM.

So if staying on site at DLH what time should we plan on leaving the hotel for a 7am EMH? Is it security line that has a long line or to enter the park? or both?

I have not been since 2016 so not very clear on the new security lies.

We just did that yesterday. We left GCH at 6:15 and lined up at 6:30. We were first in line. It was totally cool to be one of the first to enter the park. Everyone started coming about 6:45.

We didn't realize the left side wasn't opened for EMH. That kinda sucked.
