7AM ADR- When will monorail start running?

After stalking the dining reservations, I was able to get a 7am ADR at Crystal Palace during the week after Easter when the park opens at 8am. Does anyone have a guess as to when the monorail will start running? 6:30? I believe it's usually 7am, but with restaurants now open at 7am, I'd think they'd have to start earlier. We are staying offsite so we will be driving in and parking. Thank you!

I have read 6:30, and I have also read that if you have an ADR and you show up at TTC within a reasonable time of it, they will get you there by bus, rail, or boat in time to make your ADR.

In January when we were there we stayed at Bay Lake. We were waiting for the monorail to open to get to an 8:05 Crystal Palace ADR. We waited until 7:30 and there was still nothing. The escalators to the monorail were closed off and there was no monorail activity. Others were waiting around too. Thankfully we had the walking trail. We walked to the Magic Kingdom and got there at about 7:45 - the monorails still hadn't started going by the time we got there. I don't know if this was a fluke.

We also had an 8AM ADR at EPCOT and were told the only way to get there in time was to take a taxi as no busses or monorail would be running yet. We ended up just driving over (we had a car this trip). Both situations were very frustrating. I'd had early dining in the past at the Magic Kingdom and never had a problem getting there in time before.

The Resort Monorail isn't starting until 8:30 AM on those days during the maintenance period.

Yes,the Resort Monorail is still starting at 8:30 AM on Monday/Tuesday.

Walk down to the CR Lobby,out the front door,turn right and go past the Bus Stops and you will begin to see the walkway-it takes about 8 minutes to arrive at the Magic Kingdom entrance.

You're not supposed to park at a resort for theme park access and, no, it's not possible to walk from the TTC to the Contemporary.

Thank you- I didn't think so (on either). It does sound like there will be some way to get us there- perhaps by bus. If not, I'll have my uber app ready.

If you are at the TTC at 6:20, disney will get you to your ADR on time. 6:30 if you are a fast walker.

While that's likely true, it may not be so if the guests arriving at TTC then don't know to ASK the right CMs.

So true! I went to GF on a Friday and it was one of the days of the maintenence schedule and had an early adr at GFC. I went to the concierge and asked the CM if there were buses running to MK since the monorail wasn't running until 8:30, he said no. Sure enough there were. Lol

Yup.

The CMs don't ride the buses and most can't even SEE them from their work locations.
No way they keep up on them.
