How many days do you use up on your Universal/Islands 7 day ticket in one trip?

We have never gone for more than 3 days. This year we are staying onsite for 5 or 6 nights and are interested on what others do with a 7 day ticket.

Any suggestions on how to breakup our days with pool or offsite activities would be great.

Thanks.

:thumbsup2 A very good friend of mine just got back from a 4 night stay @ RPR.They got the 7day pass, and pretty much loved it.The 1st day thay wanted to do US.2nd was IOA.3rd was pool hop and hit the town.they were telling me about a rest called The Brazialian Grille(or something like that)and said it was great. pretty much doing the I-Drive thing.4th day they hit both parks. To go back to the rides and shows they liked.Sounded like a great time.:cool1:

The only reason I'm telling thier story is because they donn't have a computer, and prob never will agian(there's got struck by lightning 3times:sad1: cann't say I blame them with that kinda luck)

i spend my vacation at RPR. we do not do the parks everyday , sometimes even miss a few days, we would spend the day at the hotel pool, always plenty happening, have lunch there ,weather permitting, then around 4or 5 o`clock would head to City walk and the parks. The FOTL at this time is really good, as those who bought express passes , have already used them so its only hotel guests and AP holders there, and never really any waits.
Decide where we are going to eat ,and what time, and after dinner return to one of the parks, usually US as we enjoy the fireworks in the summer along with Universal 360

When we stay offsite we usually spend the first day at the pool and have a nice dinner and then start using the tickets the next day and this year will probably be the same way.

Please keep voting. Thanks for all your ideas. Thinking about adding 2 nights at the Nick Hotel and cutting RPH down to 4 nights.

Please disregard "pole" and replace with "poll" in title. Wish I know how to edit title.

If you want to edit your title click on edit, then click on the advanced tab. Honestly though everyone makes spelling errors and it is very rude to point it out. Don't worry about it.

We usually use 3 or 4 days on our 7 day tickets. Some day we are going to go and use all 7 plus have pool days in between!

If you have a 7 day ticket, you have the freedom to use as many days as you want. With the FOTL, you do what you feel like and when you feel like it....that is the beauty of FOTL :thumbsup2

We usually hit the parks everyday and usually do a few things at each in 1 day. We RARELY stay in 1 park for the entire day. We normally don't hit the pool because after our stay at Universal, we visit my FIL in Florida for the week and he has an inground pool.

Having the 7 day ticket you do allows you flexibility beyond belief. You might want to hit the parks, swim in the afternoon and hit the parks at night.

You may decide to sleep in and swim.

OR...Sleep in and hit the parks.

OR..neither.

I will say this, everyday we are AT Universal, we DO visit the parks....our family does not personally "take a day off" from the parks...but, that's just us :teeth:

Sorry....I'm not really any help, am I?
:rolleyes1

We usually spend 5 nights, & go to the parks all 6 day. Like the House of Bubba, we don't take days off from the parks. We don't spend all day in them either. We do whatever we're in the mood for at the time. For example, my DH & DS love running over to get in one more coaster ride, while I'm taking forever getting ready. :rolleyes1 The only thing we schedule is dinner.

We don't leave UO property, until we check out. It makes for a very relaxing vacation. :cloud9: After our last visit, we decided we'd like to spend 7 nights next time. I suppose we'll have to buy an AP, since a 7 day pass wouldn't be enough. :)
