How often does this come up? I have a 5 year old and 1 year old, so I plan on staying in a studio for at least another 6 years or so. At that time, if they still love disney, and want to keep going every year, I can add on.

I see lot's of contracts at 100 or over. A few at 50. But none inbetween. I take it these are tougher to find?

I am assuming you are talking resale...you can buy any amount over 25 points (50 for financing) if you add-on directly through Disney.

For resale, I think a lot of folks are like us and added on in fairly small increments as needed, our three add-ons were 40, 40 and 35.

From reading on this board, it seems that many of the smaller resale amounts never even get posted - they go that fast. If you know you want a small amount like you mentioned, why don't you notify Tom at the Timeshare Store (site sponsor). His 800 number is at the top of this page, and that way he could let you know when a small resale comes up (before it is quickly snatched!) Good luck!

Just buy one at 25 or 50 or any increment that works, then you can add on through Disney for any # of points over 25 to get the total you would like. I agree - call the board sponsor and get on the small contract waitlist. It took us less than a month to get the contract we wanted, and when it made it onto the website, it said "sold" at the same time...

Yes. If you are interested, call The Timeshare Store and get on their waitlist. They will call once something becomes available.

We were doing the same thing this time last year. We ended up buying a 60 point OKW contract with the idea that we could add on at any time. With the new incentive, we bought the amount that we wanted and are getting ready to sell the 60 OKW points.
