DH and I are so excited about this grand child we are simply beside ourselves. We still don't know if it is a boy or a girl for sure. She had an ultrasound at 8 weeks and it looked like a boy but her doctor said he didn't like to say one way or the other that early. Her next ultrasound, we have a beautiful back view of the baby. Doesn't have another one until two weeks before her due date. So I have been buying all unisex clothes. DH said I really shouldn't go to any after Christmas sales because I have already bought enough!
(He can't say too much as he and my son in law have both bought the baby little riding toys!) I have bought her quite a few Carter's sleepers and since I work in the office at a daycare several families have either donated
or let me buy their baby things! I am keeping the baby in the daytime. I only work three or so hours a day and the daycare is working around me. Also since I work in the office I actually can go anytime even after hours. I have had a small crib, two high chairs and a car seat given to me. She has had a swing, a bassinet, a bouncer, a high chair, and a walker given to her by friends. She bought a beautiful crib and we bought her an Evenflo infant car seat. One lady whose son goes to the day care let me buy ALL of her baby clothes up to 12 months. Also she had sheets, receiving blankets, etc. in with the clothes. I bought from her 3 hugh trash bags, two bushel Rubber Maid containers, and about 2 grocery store bags full of things for a very reasonable price in excellent condition! The clothes are a boys but a little girl could still wear a lot of them. Sorry this is so long, but I just had to share my excitement with you guys!
Can't tell I am excited can you!!!!!
