Love the Osborne Lights. It's too bad we didn't get a good video, but I'll just have to try to fix that this year!

They were just amazing! It's a good excuse to go back I need to get better video of them :thumbsup2

Love all the extra pics! I really like that Countdown to Fun parade! :goodvibes

Thanks. Yeah that's a good parade. I like the new characters like Remy and Doug being in the parade. Block Party Bash will always have a special place in my heart after the CM giving me the ball from the parade though :rotfl:

Loved your latest update, especially the tip on two cookies with ice cream is the better buy! :goodvibes Angel is so cute! :cloud9:

They just went up in price, but they are still the better bargain, and large enough that we can split it two ways or more!

Yeah I thought that was weird that it worked out cheaper as a cookie sandwich than buying two cookies.

Thank you. :goodvibes

We love getting the icecream cookie sandwich!! Usually we get 2 different kinds of cookies. One without chocolate since I can't eat chocolate and one with chocolate.

The only time we opted to get an icecream cone over the sandwich, was a couple months ago when peanut butter was the flavor of the month. That was some gooooood icecream!!

I was going to say that that they are big enough and sweet enough to share if you're not a big treat eater but then I thought it'd make be sound like a piggy since I ate 90% of it myself. It was only when I'd had my sugar intake I finally stopped hmmmming long enough to ask Momma if she wanted to try some :rotfl:

I didn't know you could do that. The way they said it to me seemed you had to pic two the same. Although the sprinkles one was yummy!

Disney know how to do food :thumbsup2

Just a little life update for y'all... I still haven't recieved a certain email that I'm waiting patiently for but I'm told these people can take up to six weeks so it might be a while.
In the meantime apparently my results from my masters are out on Friday. I say apparently because the rest of the colleges results are out then but it's not quite clear if that includes ours. I half expect an email from lecturers saying ours are different but we'll see Friday. Thinking about results I'll be happy with one outcome only above 2:2 lol. Just to explain because I don't know if it's the same in America in Irish college system you can get a first which is 70-100, a 2:1 which is 60-70, a 2:2 which is 50-60, a third which is 40-50, pass which is 30-40 and fail is anything below. In the college I'm currently in for the masters they basically cut out 2:2 which means if you get 50-60 you're awarded a third and I don't like the sound of that because to me it sounds less intelligent if you like than a 2:2. Dunno if I'll get the result I want but sure we'll see.
Anyways also on Friday I'm going to England to see my nieces and sis. DN13 is going to be 14 on Friday as well so she has her birthday party then and then Saturday I'm going to see my beloved WESTLIFE in concert and I'm in the 6th row cannot wait :cloud9: I am hoping to get into the Disney store in which case if there's anything to be photographed I will share with y'all.

Hope you get your masters results on Friday & that it is what you want! And hopefully your email will come soon too! :goodvibes

I want an email saying what I want it to more than I care about the results. :rotfl: The email has to do with the mouse! :rolleyes1

OMG! Well, if it has to do with the Mouse, then I can see why you're so anxious! :hyper: Can we guess what it's about?

If you want. :goodvibes I'm not anxious I'm waiting patiently for the email with the next step if that happens. Maybe they'll never email :confused3

First off I wrote another info bloggie Clickie I was going to wait to catch up on the video bits before I did another update but figured what the hey can go back to that. So without further delay:

Day 9, part 1:
Friday 2nd December, 2011
This is where we take a break from Disney for a few days to do other stuff in Florida but not to fear we will return soon. Today we got up and took the iride to Seaworld. From Seaworld we took a courtesy bus to our actual destination for the day which was Discovery Cove:

We arrive about 9.30 and got checked in. They gave us a map, took our pictures and gave us our fancy passes which would also work as our Seaworld tickets and told us which Cabana to go to for the swim. I was given an 11:45 swim, Momma wasn't swimming with Dolphins. So we strolled along the path taking in the little paradise and getting stopped for our complimentary photo before exploring some more:

The plants and water are all so pretty but breakfast was calling so we headed into the Laguna Grill for breakfast.
DSCF9216.jpg

For those that don't know, in Discovery Cove you pay for your entry and swim if you're doing the swim and after that everything is included as in the give you wet-suits, suncream, food and drinks all day so techinically you don't need to bring anything but yourself and your swimming togs. Anyways back to breakfast. I think Momma and I had the same anyways I've only one piled plate pic:
DSCF9217.jpg

There was also loads of pastrys and buns and stuff these are the ones I tried:
DSCF9218.jpg

The maple and pecan plait was fine but the little muffin tasted of banana and I didn't like it so I shared it with this dude:
DSCF9222.jpg

I think Momma probably had fruit and I also picked this up for tomorrows breakfast:
DSCF9219.jpg

I was amused by the cups as well:
DSCF9223.jpg

We sat outside under one of those porch torch heaters so it was nice. It was a nice dry day but not boiling hot it wasn't freezing either but could have been warmer like. Anyways after breakfast we went for a browse around the shop as Momma and I are big shop fans. I loved how even Discovery Cove had Christmas decorations as well:

After that we headed towards the wet-suit area to get changed. Of course I took pics along the path as well. The showers looked really cool:
DSCF9232.jpg

Once we were changed we headed here:

to Serenity Bay. Momma lay down on a sun chair while I went for a swim around the lazy river which goes through the avairy and under waterfalls and was alot longer than I expected so once I finished that it was time to head to the Dolphins.

Next up: Making some fishy friends

Wow, I'd heard of Discovery Cove, but honestly, I really didn't know anything about it. Very interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing how the dolphon swim went.

Discovery Cove is like a little Paradise away from everything else. They only let a certain amount of people in everyday and that number is fairly low compared to other parks so the park doesn't feel crowded at all. It's perfect for a day away from all the hussle and bussle of everything else in Florida :goodvibes This was our second time doing it as well and they've updated the whole layout of the park since we last went.

I think swimming with the Dolphins is so neat. I hope someday to do that. Did you enjoy it?

I can't wait to see how it all turned out!

I've heard some really good things about Discovery Cove from some people on the boards. Can't wait to see what you thought of it.

Yeah this was actually my second time doing it because my Momma brought me as an early 21st birthday present back in 2005 but things had changed a little since then.

Discovery Cove is a little paradise. Well worth the visit at least once.

Did Mama have to pya the same price or is there a pirce for non swimmers?

No there's a price for non-swimmers as well.
I think we went during low season and I think my swim was 199 which included admission to Discovery Cove, food all day, the dolphin swim and unlimited access to Seaworld for 14 days.
I think Momma's was 129 for entrance to Discovery Cove, food, wetsuits etc no swim but still 14 days unlimited access to Seaworld.
It seems expensive but you are getting access to two parks and food free in one all day.

In other news my results are definately out tomorrow
