7 Weeks from today - give me motivation!

Hi everyone! I am leaving for WDW in 7 weeks from today! :banana: I am really set on losing 10lbs before i go.. is this doable?? I was doing good a couple months ago, and dropped 15lbs, I went from 205 lbs, down to my now 190lbs.
I would love to make it to 180lbs before i go.. and then we cruise in December right after Christmas, and by then, i would love to be down to 170lbs. That is exactly 3 months from today (see my tickers!! LOL) :)

I am going to be doing my treadmill everyday - i just started with 25 min right now.. and i will build from there. I really really really want to tone up my arms -- that is my source of :scared: for me. LOL (well, other than the upper leg area..:scared: :scared: )

I really want to know some great exercises i can do with lower weights to get my upper body in shape..

Right now, i am just looking for that push.. i have fallen off my wagon that i was going so well on.. :sad2: And now, i need to get back on. :cheer2:

Your goal is something that you have mapped in a way that you can achieve. I know you will!

Stick around here and give/receive that support. It does make that journey easier.

Your upper arm lower weight idea for toning is something to try. Grab those soup cans and start arm curls and you could try to do some push ups against the kitchen counter. Then there are other choices for arm movement as well.

I'm glad you've gotten back on the wagon and back to making healthy choices for a healthier you!
 
Oh my goodness!!! I am in the same boat exactly. We leave in 7 weeks, I had lost 15 pounds, fell off the wagon gained 4 back and want to loose 10 pounds by the time we leave and I am about your same size. This is too strange. I just said to my mil yesterday do you think this is impossible to loose 10 pounds by the time we leave. You have given me the incentive to loose this weight. Knowing you are doing this also. I want to get up and walk in the morning. I am hoping it happens.

Thanks guys!! I am hoping to get back on the treadmill tomorrow afternoon -- dh is home in the a.m. and i really like to do it alone in peace - so when he goes off to his dr.appt. at noon, i will hop on! Aiming for 30 min. tomorrow..

We leave in about 7 wks too! I lost 25lbs due to gestational diabetes I had with my now 6 month old DS but have gained about 10lbs back. I would love to lose those 10lbs or more. Unfortunately, I don't have a treadmill so, I will have to resort to walking. I did start today by eating a little better. :confused3
 
Hey, every lil'bit helps.. I really was good eating today.. I am cooking Bourbon Chicken right now for dinner(well, it's Perdue frozen.. LOL) But, it's low in sugar, and it's bad all around, and it tastes great!
 
I'm with you! I get married in 7 weeks and I really need to lose some pounds before then. Good Luck!

I'm in the same spot. I have lost 60lbs over the past year, but to get to the goal I had set for my WDW trip (6 weeks from saturday) I need to lose 10 more. Unfortunately over the last 2 months it seems no matter what I do I keep gaining and losing the same 5lbs. I joined Weight Watchers on Saturday, hoping it will give me the push I need.

Hey! I am 6 weeks from Sat. too! LOL Where are you staying?
This is our 4th consecutive TG trip.. love it!!
 
My math sucks, I leave 5 weeks from saturday:scared1: I have even less time to lose. My friend is a DVC member, we are staying 2 nights at Animal Kingdom and then going to Saratoga Springs for 10 nights.
 
Oh, that sounds great! Enjoy!! We will be at the Poly for the first time -- Lagoon View concierge.. i am soooo psyched! LOL
