7 Seater SUV Rental

Has anybody rented a full size SUV ?

Have found a good offer (cheaper than our normal 7 seater mini-van) but am concerned about the luggage space. On paper it takes the same amount of passengers/luggage but how about the reality?
We usally manage to fit about 7 cases of various sizes into a Grand Caravan - can we do the same with an Envoy? Is it more comfortable bearing in mind we have the drive from MIA to take into consideration? We usually find the front seats absolutely fine in the Mini-van but no so good behind (kids don;t complain though).

I would imagine that a full size SUV would be similar in size, if not a little larger than a minivan.

Try having a look at the maunfacturers web site and compare the gross luggage space for the two quoted vehicles.

I always order a 4x4 then upgrade to a Dodge Durango. It has 8 seats which can be split in loads of ways & has a DVD player in it which keeps the kids entertained.
There is a new Chrysler just out which is very similar as well.
The only downside is the 16 miles to the gallon from the 4.7 litre engine.
They are just so much more fun than the usual people carrier & its easier to find the car in the parks car parks.
