...Is this too early to be able to watch Illuminations from there? We've been trying since November, and it's the only time we've been able to get.. Also have ADR for Le Cellier for lunch that day, and need to cancel one of them.

It normally starts at 9 I think so might not be to early depending on a few things. First you may not get your tabel at 7 so taht would kill a few minutes while you wait for your food. Second take your time looking over the menu and that will take up some more time. Then by the time you get your food and eat it slowly you might still be there. Of couses it is a 2 hour time frame, but I would say ther is hope.

I believe Illuminations is at 9:30 because of the CP.

If you are going in Dec. Illuminations starts at 9:30. So you would be early to view it during dinner.

We had a 7:00 dining time a couple of years ago and we were too early. However, we were invited to return and view Illuminations from an area to the side of the outside seating area. We had to stand, but it was a great place. Maybe you can check on watching from there.
