7 nights dining plan...

[Get me to Disney!]

Trying to figure this all out. For my parents . They have 7 nights but want to do Hoop Dee Doo and also eat in Cinderella's Castle So, that will eat up four credits if I am correct. That leaves them three more.....What to pick??? They are not interested in trying "new" things. They like meat/potatoes kind of meals and seafood. Any advice before I go insane??? I haven't even begun to figure my own ADR's out yet...........

I'd say HDD and CRT are good choices. They're both on my list for next time! I would recommend Ohana's for dinner. It has a polynesian flare but the food is pretty simple, a lot of meat! Le Cellier is always a favorite, really hard to get a reservation, but the steaks are really good and it's a hearty meal. 50s Prime Time Cafe also has traditional American fare with a fun setting. There are sooo many good choices!

Yes the BOth take 2 ts. We will use a cs meal in the evening then for after noon meal maybe eat at caseys and share a large hotdog and fries. Or you might pay for one of your ts meals. Or eat a late after noon meal and snack. We sometimes share a couple of cs meals to make up. WE always have something left over. As far as resturants I would suggest Wispering canyons with the whole faimly. Liberty Tree tavern has a thanksgiving style meal, THe other ts meal at ft wilderness is a good home style meal as well.

for steak & potatoes...at 1 TS, and with fairly easy to get reservations can't beat the monorail resorts. The Wave at the Contemporary (menu just sounds New Age - but the steak on the menu is good steak like you'd get at any steak house.) Also Kona Cafe at the Polynesian - great prime rim or teriyaki steak (they can ask for no pineapple on the steak if they really want it plain.) And I really enjoyed the steak & potatoes at the Grand Floridian Cafe.

All three of those restaurants are 1 TS...all 3 places have great desserts too.
