7 night Alaskan special nights?

No pirate night in Alaska. There will be formal and semi formal nights.
That's what I though, Trent on the dream told me about no fire works in Alaska because authorities say it's dangerous to the environment. Thanks for the help.

It's not necessarily that's it's dangerous, they don't want to 'disturb the natural peace', there's no funnel vision either apart from the first two and last day (I think).

Chances are you'll have a Pixar Pals afternoon/evening theme too...

Last year we had formal, semi-formal, Pixar and Frozen. The Pixar stuff was on the same night they showed Toy Story. Since they've removed that show...who knows.

Our table mates didn't get the pirate memo and brought all their pirate stuff. They all wore it to dinner one night anyway just for fun! It was hilarious. They actually picked a day that Jack Sparrow was greeting and all went and got pictures with him. Very funny.

is this true? say it ain't so?!!?!?! I LOVE FUNNELVISION. (relaxing on deck watching funnel vision with a cone from eye scream ...)

I had no idea, but I just checked navigators from last year and they do say that all audio will be cut to preserve the wilderness. I get it because Funnel Vision IS loud, but it's also fun to watch movies outside.

Sorry :(
But if its any consolation, the views are amazing, and its light until late, I think even if a movie was on you'd end up watching the scenery and not the movie...

A quirk on the Navigator is that they do show the movie Frozen after the Freezing the Night Away show. The movie began at around 10:30 p.m. That seemed to be the case in 2015, too.

It is, and I thought it would be a bummer, too, but when we were outside we were looking at all the amazing scenery going by. I didn't even think about it or realize it at the time. Trust me, you don't miss it. At all.

The Alaska cruise is quite casual. We had brought clothes for each night, but in the end we didn't change for the majority of the dinners. For perspective, we changed/dressed according to the Navigator for our other Disney cruises.

On our Alaskan Cruise they had Formal Night, Semi Formal Night, Freeze the Night Away (Frozen) and Pixar Night. For Semi Formal and Formal night most people made some effort. I was worried it would be all tuxedos and ball gowns(which we didn't pack) but most people were in dress pants and button down shirts or skirts or casual dresses. Frozen night I assume the little girls might have dressed up, but I rarely saw any kids during our entire cruise, so I couldn't really say and Pixar Day we had t-shirts to fit the theme, and I felt like we might have been the rare few. Not many people went all out for Pixar night like they do Pirates Night. We got the shirts just so we weren't the odd ones out, turns out not dressing up would have been the "norm" for that theme.
