7 month window

I have just booked a trip to SSR for next September using the 11 month window. At 7 months I hope to switch the ressie to OKW. We will be checking out on Sept 30.

As there is no Feb 30th do I call on March 1st ? I don't want to miss getting the rooms I want!

Sorry to ask such a silly question. I just want to be sure!

Yes, call on March 1st. Also, if the day happens to fall on a weekend, call the next business day following. They will never allow you to book BEFORE the window opens so call the day immediately following.

For anything after the 28th, you would call on March 1st.

Everybody gave you the wrong answer.

You may make your reservation on Monday, Feb 28th, 2005.

From my copy of Member Guidelines update, August 1999, pg 10.

"The 'corresponding date' is the date of check out for the desired reservation; if check out is to occur on June 25th, then the corresponding date is the 25th. If there are no dates that correspond directly to the reservation check out date, then the last day of the month is when reservations may be requested. For example, a Member who wishes to check out on January 31, may request that reservation on February 28."

Note that the above example was for an 11-month window. The same policy applies for the 7-month window. To my knowledge DVC has never changed the reservation procedure.

Those of you who are using my DVC-Planner program will note that it correctly states Feb 28th as the date the OP can request their vacation with a September 30th checkout.

It's February 28th, not March 1st as everyone else said.

Thank you Bill. I have been using your program to calculate point totals but nothing more. Looks like I need to investigate the program's capabilities!!!
