DW and I decided to take our college age daughters (2) on vacation for Christmas. We have not been able to go altogether for quite a while. We booked at OKW to make sure we had a reservation. Changed to Beach Club yesterday after seeing the first day not being available at GF. Tried again this morning for GF 1 BR and the first day was available for std view but 3 other days were not available later in the week. The missing days were available for 1BR lake view. Decided to call Member Services for assistance but was a 15 minute wait. I kept playing with the on-line booking and was actually getting worse results and then all of a sudden an alternate selection for a 1BR Lake view for the entire 6 nights was displayed. I hit the book button and opened a new browser to cancel my Beach Club reservation which I did. You guessed it - the cancel points were not showing up on the other browser and I think I hit the wrong button and lost the GF booking so now I had no reservations. I still was on hold with Member Services so I tried again and again
on the online booking and magically the GF 1BR Lake view for 6 nights appeared again as an alternate selection. This time I hit the booked button and my cancelled points were available and I completed the booking. I think I experienced the first miracle of Christmas twice. Thanks for letting me share.
