7-Month Window Experience at BCV

This morning I was able to get a studio at BCV for Oct 27-28, I'm waitlisted for the 26th. I was surprised. I was afraid I'd be waitlisted for the entire stay. I have a backup at VWL. This will be a post member cruise trip.

Friday and Saturday nights do tend to book more slowly than the weeknights, so it's not a surprise that there is still availability for those at the 7 month mark.

Congrats on the ressie. I'm a new SSR owner and I go a BCV ressie in May at about 7 months out, a little less. I was thrilled to say the least. How many days until we go??????

We're going in May too, OKW. Really looking forward to it. We're in bad need of a vacation. You'll love the BCV. I get a "warm and fuzzy" just thinking about it.

I am so excited too as I got the last three days of my two week vacation to SSR (23, 24th and 25th October) in a two bedroom at BCV. We are taking my friends and would like to do the Epcot things whilst we are at BCV in the evening and do the DTD and crossroad things whilst at SSR. We are taking two other families with us (one of thefamilies stays for just a week at SSR and then goes home) and all like to have a nice drink in the evenings and it will be great to have a nice walk instead of trying to get on a bus.

Also as a surpirse for my friends when we move to BCV we will let them have the one bedroom part and we will have to studio but as a surprise and hopefully not tell them until we get there an unpack. The youngest is 7 and so SAB will be great.

We love SSR but are really happy to have a change for the final three days.

I phoned dead on time of the 7 month window and phoned day by day. I could not get the sunday 22nd but have noticed a UK DIS meet at Raglan Road on this date and so SSR is much better location anyway.

We were going to try BCV for our upcoming October anniversary trip, but of course the 26th wasn't available there or at BWV. When I realized that's the debarkation day for the Member Cruise, it totally made sense. I'd be really surprised if the 26th comes available at all. We're happy to stick with our reservations at VWL ... hopefully we'll get to try BCV on another trip in the future.

Which is why I'm hanging onto my VWL ressie. Maybe we'll see there--roughing it at VWL.

I've heard Raglan Road is a terrific place to eat. We have a ressie for our next trip.

My home resort is OKW, but I really wanted to stay at BCV which I've never stayed at before. So I made a reservation for a studio at OKW at the 11 month window for 10/27/06-11/4/06. Then I waited for the 7 month window to come rolling around and I've been calling MS daily at 9am on dot to transfer my reservation from OKW to BCV. I had no problem with 10/27 & 10/28. But there were no more studios for 10/29 & 10/30 so I had to get a 1 Bedroom for those 2 nights. I'm waitlisted for a studio for those 2 nights as well. We'll see how the rest of reservation plays out.

My waitlist came through today too!!! For my 8 night stay at BCV (10/27/06-11/4/06) I wanted a studio for the whole trip, I only had 1 night in a 1 BDR for 10/30/06 waitlisting for a studio. Today my studio came through for 10/30/06 and now my entire 8 night stay is in a studio. I'm so happy I don't have to change rooms.

Food & Wine Festival/MNSSHP here I come!!!
