Brain-dead on Hallowe'en...I should know this already...

1) We're planning on arriving Saturday July 10th. What date in December does our 7 month window open? Thursday December 10th or Saturday December 12th

2) We're bringing extended family and will be booking 3 studios for the entire stay. Will they fall under one reservation number or will each studio have it's own reservation number? We haven't done a multi-room ressie before.

Thanks....

7 month window opens on Dec. 10th. I am not sure about the other question, as I have not done multi room reservations yet either.

Each room will have its own reservation number, and, if desired, can add the DDP independent of the other rooms.

Thanks Chuck. Three other mutli-rm ressie questions...

1) As we're the members, would all rooms be in our name or the names of the family members staying in each room?

2) When we check-in at the resort may we check-in for all three rooms or does someone from each room need to be there to check-in?

3) When making the reservations, should our first request on each reservation be that we are in close proximity to the other rooms or should the first request be for a particular location (ie. Grandstand) that we all wish to be in together?

Thanks for your time...

The rooms will need to have the names of the guests for that particuar room, not your name, on them.

You can not check-in for rooms in which you are not a registered guest. For instance, I had 2 studios reserved, one for me and one for my best friend and his family. I could not check-in for them, even though they were staying on my points, as I was not a registered guest in that room.

Yes, you should request on all reservations to be near each other. The proximity will vary by resort, but be sure all the rooms are the same booking category, for instance, don't have some in Boardwalk View and others in Standard View. At OKW there are only a few studios next to each other, but we've always been "nearby", either n the same building, or adjacent buildings, usually one room on top of the other, one floor up.

They often will pre-block nearby rooms for those requests.

Perfect! Thanks again Chuck...
