7 month window changing resorts 2 rooms

Check my logic. I need to try to change resorts at 7 months. I have 2 studios booked and want to move both to another resort. If i use 2 different computers logged into my account and check both at the same time and change both if they are avaliable will it work? If not do you have a better procedure?

There's no way of knowing whether one studio or twenty studios are available. So logging on with 2 different computers to modify 2 different reservations for the same view may backfire on you.

I would call MS to attempt because they can at least tell you how many rooms are available so you can decide if there are enough to change both.

My thought is to start the process on one but not finalize it. My understanding is a hold is put on the room to give time to finish the booking. I would then check the other reservation during that holding time and then finalize both if the second was avaliable.

I don't know. I have seen rooms disappear before the final screen because someone else beat me to it. This happens mostly at 8:00 sharp when the 11- or 7- month window opens for that room and a lot of members are all vying for the same ones. I get all the way to the "confirm reservation" screen and then get an error because there were more members booking the room than there were available rooms.

Has not worked for me, I snagged the room and then during it I got thr dwarves….it was because some booked it out from under me.

Changing two is difficult if you are trying for a busy time

I'm not sure if it is a busy time. It's the week starting 1/22/23
We want to go from SSR to AKV. Another large resort. The most important thing is both rooms being at the same resort.

Since you are going to a larger resort, you might be fine In getting both switched. It might be wise to call MS and get them switched…
