I didn't get any answers before, so I'll try again.

At 7 months because I don't own at the resort, if I want to book 6 nights, can I use points from different resorts to book those nights in one reservation? Most of the points will be from VB, but I need to use BCV for the first night. When I call, at 7 months from check in, can I say use BCV for the first night and then the VB for the rest. Or does the fact that I'm using different resorts mean that I can only book the one night that day and that I have to wait to the next day to book the next 5 nights?

I'm not positive but I think you can book all 6 nites at once as long as it's all at the same resort. I don't think it matters where the points come from at 7 months.

At 7 months your contracts are combined as far as booking in concerned. You can use 3 points from one and 20 from the other.

Make sure that you tell MS what to do, they will do all sorts of weird things with your points. After you make the reservation, check the member website to make sure that they got it right.

Yes, you can book all the days at once. You just couldn't do it if it were points from completely different memberships unless you transferred but since it's all under one there's no problem. I don't think they necessarily specify the BCV points to the first night unless at the time you booked you couldn't get the second night and needed to waitlist. But you can tell them you want to use X number of BCV points and the rest VB. If you ended up cancelling a day or two then you would need to make certain they return whichever points you would want back.

As Bill said, double check your account afterwards though and call back to change it if they don't get it right the first time!

As long as they are all the same master contract number. If you have more than one master contract involved, it becomes a separate reservation that must be linked and you have to wait for seven months from the start of that reservation to call.

Unless you transfer, then they become under one contract. :goodvibes

We only have one contract number, so it's not a transfer, and I think that's where I was confused. This is the first time I'm trying to book a major vacation at the 7 month mark. I bought where I want to book, except for this trip!:lmao:

PS. I do check after each call to MS to be sure that any time I have booked after 7 months that the points were taken out of the resort that I requested. I think we have 17 parts to our contract.
