7-month res at BWV beginning of Jan/03

We are planning a series of grandparent trips, one of which will be in Jan/03. That one is supposed to be at BWV - our home resort is WLV, so we won't be able to book until the 7-month window.

I'm wondering just what our chances are likely to be to get a 2-bedroom at BWV for beginning of January, if we're only booking at the 7-month window (which will be June/02, by my calcs).

I suspect that our luck will be much better to get OKW for that January week, any comments?

You really never know until it's time to call. I'd suggest making the reservation at your home resort (to be sure you have somewhere to stay) and then calling to switch at your 7 month mark.

That's a pretty slow time of year, even for DVC'ers, so your chances of getting BWV are probably possible. You might not get Jan. 2 (folks left over from NYE) but you will probably get most of your week. OKW, of course, is a bigger resort so you probably will have even greater luck there.

Carol makes an excellent point about always having "backup".
