7 month help please!

Right now DD & I are booked at SSR non-preferred Jan 2-6. BCV is so far open for a studio Jan 1-5. I'm going to try to walk the 1 day, waitlist the last night and drop Jan 1.

I have the points to keep both reservations simultaneously, but am concerned about having 2 rooms with me as the lead until I can get to a phone - my 1st pd class starts at 8:15, but I can't get to a phone to cancel all but the last night at SSR until 10:55 lunch.

I don't want to risk canceling SSR & ending up with nothing for our last night. Am I going to have a problem with myself listed on both for a few hours?

You'll be fine. If you still feel concerned you can just place it in your daughters name or some other family member and adjust to the correct names at a later date.

I got Jan 1-5, but am not sure I did it correctly as I didn't waitlist the last night. I just chose the first option I saw.

If I call in can they waitlist the last night even though it is beyond my window? It's Marathon week-end so I know chances are slim. Thanks for your help!

No, you can't waitlist that last night on it's own yet. What you could do right now is to set up a waitlist for all the nights including what you just booked and have it replace if it comes thru. Or, do that tomorrow for the actual nights you want and have it replace what you just booked, just on the odd chance that it all becomes available before you can waitlist that single night. Otherwise you'll have to wait to either book if it opens or to set up the waitlist in a few days on the 5th. You can do just that one night at that time and then if it comes thru MS may combine or it's easy for you to call in or email asking them to combine with your other nights.
