Please refresh my memory - when booking at a non-home resort booking for a 9-night stay can occur on the first day of the 7-month availability window, correct?

For example, today is 01/28. A 9-night stay starting on 08/28 could be booked today at the 7-month window even though 08/29+ is not in the 7-month window.

Thanks!

If have a 9 night already booked, can still only book 7 on that modify. Have to wait the two more days to modify as a whole.

Booking a fresh 9 night at 7 months, still can only book 7 then add on daily. (Hoping to not get bumped out by an owner).

Correct on timing, assuming all nights are available. It's possible that one or more of the nights in your stay is unavailable because of home resort priority.

With that said, I don't know about the 9-night part of it. I can't recall if the limitation is 10 nights or 7.

You can only book 7 nights from the start of the 7 month window.

Book the 7 nights from the start of the 7 month window, modify to add another night the next day, the following night you can modify to add the 9th.

This is a bummer. But glad I saw this thread. I have an 8 night reservation booked at my home resort for September in a 1 bedroom. Want to try to change it to either a 1 bedroom at Beach Club (probably a pipe dream I know lol) or Boardwalk (still iffy during Food & Wine lol). But "modifying" I would lose my last night, without a guarantee that I could get the last night at either of those resorts. Seeing this, I changed my home resort reservation to a Studio, saving points, so I now will have enough to (hopefully) snag a 1 bedroom for 7 nights, then hopefully the 8th night, then I can cancel my Studio, without having to borrow.
