7 mo window hits while at WDW

we're staying at OKW the entire time we need to book day by day. Is there an internal number to dial or shall I just call the 800 number? I'm fine calling the 800 #, just don't want to have to wait to be transferred by an operator.

There is non-toll free number (407 area code) that you will find on the back of your DVC Member card. When doing a day by day for a season (Christmas particularly) that many believe requires it, you can often get through on the 407 number when the 800 number is busy.

I've used the 407 number regularly - if we use it from the resort will we have to pay for the call? Not sure if the cell will get great reception.

I am pretty sure that I called the front desk or guest services and they were able to get me into DVC members services.

I just need something that assures I will be transferred right away. I guess I'll rely on the cell and the 407 number.
