7 girls estrogen tour!

Thank you for sharing! Awesome report thus far. I loved hearing about your experience at 50's Prime Time. We love that place just for the atmosphere!

We really enjoyed it as well. We'll be back someday!:thumbsup2

DAY 4 EPCOT

By now you know the drill. I’m up early, coffee in hand and doing homework. We get showered, my kids borrow everything I own and we’re always late to the parks. Nothing has changed today accept Wifey # 2 is exhausted and wants to sleep in a bit. I leave her to get some rest and the girls and I take my only boat ride this trip, over to Epcot. Beautiful morning, actually cool outside.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON384-1.jpg
We arrive safe & sound in Epcot. Sister has called and texted so we really need to hurry and meet them at Soarin. Easie said than done. Epcot is GORGEOUS with all the Wine & Food Festival decoration.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON389-1.jpg
We end up stopping every 20 feet to take a “quick” photo. Sister gets tired of waiting and they ride Soarin’ without us. I don’t blame em’. We FINALLY get there and it’s just a 20 minute wait and we’re ready to go! We’ve never done Soarin’ so we’re real excited. I’ve heard great things about it and my Niece is VERY excited to ride again. We get the 1st row, which I understand is the coveted row. Once we get on and seat belted in, I realized this thing is going up and the panic sets in. Will I flip out like I did on ToT? The lights go off, and up we go. We’re flying and my feet are dangling…this means TOTAL FLIP OUT! Yup, full on panic attack, fun times for all. I actually did much better than I thought I would. The only scene that REALLY had me sweating was the Grand Canyon. Soarin’ over that one really made me woozy. Other than that, I would so ride again!

Wifey # 2 calls me and says she’s in the park, so we meet up with her. On our way now to KIM POSSIBLE to do a mission.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON405-1.jpg
Let me say, this is a great adventure for the kids, but NOT in the heat. We did ¼ of it and were already over it! Fun yes, but it drags out a bit. The mission took us all over Norway which was nice. After we’re done with that, over to Mexico as Sister, Grandma & Wifey #2 want to do the Tequila bar. It’s not open yet, what? Hello? We’ve got some chicks who wanna get their drink on, OPEN UP! This is when one of the guys tells us it will open in 10 minutes. I am NOT a Tequila girl, so me, Niece and 2 DD’s head over to grab sum grub while the lush
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON420-2.jpg
es held out for sum booze! We ended up eating in Mexico, not bad for a CS. The rest of the group finally crawled over to us and had sum MUCH needed grub. Ever onward, we tromped over to China. Very nice place. We went in a few places, I saw some VERY nice pieces of jewelry but Wifey #2 held onto our money like she was guarding the crown jewels!
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON425-1.jpg
Okay, next stop France. YUM! Last trip I didn’t try any pastry, THIS trip I did!!
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON440-1.jpg
Yes it was F & W fest and we did try a few drinks and nibbled a bit. Can I remember what we ate & drank? Heck no! I loved the food, the drinks, eh. I DO remember the Plumb Wine w/ Green Tea….YUCK! It was a bit salty for me. I’ll stick with a good Bloody Mary and a cold beer. Okay, let’s head over to the UK always fun. We went in the Rose & Crown pub and I wanted to try some more beer, but it was PACKED! We stopped for a quick ladies’ room visit and decided it was hot, lets head back to our resorts for some pool time. We had late reservations for tonight so an afternoon break was in order. Hugs & Kisses till later. We headed back to the Boardwalk and RAN to get in our suites and hit the pools! It was SO refreshing, I even did the slide…woot woot! After some cool pool time and a few cold beers we all headed up to our rooms to get ready. Tonight, OHANA’s for our last dinner with the whole gang.
We picked up Sister, Grandma & Niece. I have to say, we all cleaned up very nicely.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON452-1.jpg
We headed over to the Polynesian Resort. Stopped off for some great family pics and headed up to the bar.
MaddieAbby-1.jpg
Surprised? You shouldn’t be. We ordered some Lapu Lapu’s and other fruity drinks. I probably drank ¼ of it. Just too strong for me, but everyone else loved it! Soon after, we were being seated to dinner. Wifey # 2 and I have been before so we KNEW they serve a LOT of food here! Once we sat down, the food started coming to the table and it didn’t stop! We ate and ate and ate some more. I love how they always say, “Save room for dessert”. Like that is even possible? It IS! I really DID save room. I’m not really a sweets person. I would pass up a table of pies, cakes and candies for one bag of Fritos. I would knock over old Grannie’s and plow through a group of nuns just to grab a handful of chips. I’m not proud, just honest. That being said, I DID save room because I KNOW the bread pudding with that MAGICAL sauce is to DIE FOR!!! I have to say, as we were winding down, I thought, maybe I should have tried for an early reservation? I am SO glad I didn’t. I heard someone gasp, so I turned around. HALLOWISHES just started and they piped in the music for us!!! Can you say MAGICAL MOMENT? Totally unexpected and totally perfect for our last night with all of us.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON473-1.jpg

Okay, fireworks over, time to head out and drop my family off at their resort and say goodbye. They fly home tomorrow. Luckily DD#1 gets married next year, so we’ll see them in 7 months!! But tonight, we cried, a lot. Goodbyes are always tough in our family. It was an amazing week. I got to spend my honeymoon with the very women I love so much. Truly amazing.
Time to head back to our resort, yes a few tears were left on my pillow but they were followed by Disney dreams….

:love::love:

I love it :) You even had me almost tear up at the end!

Is there more to come? :wizard:

DAY 5, DVC Tour, Magic Kingdom and Down Town Disney!

Busy day ahead, gonna try to get it all in. We made an appointment to tour the DVC. Well, let me back up here. On one of those nights when we came back to our resort and had a “few drinks”, yeah, that’s when Mark and I chatted. I was tipsy and I’m sure Mark could tell.:scared1: It may have been the slurring of words or the walking sideways, not really sure, but he spotted me and that was it! Wifey #2 was actually AT the bar grabbing MORE beer when Mark started talking. Nice guy, very funny. I told him we were renting points and really wanted to buy. Mark said “Take the tour, you’ll thank me”. So what they hey, I signed us up. About this time, Wifey #2 comes trotting over with beers in hand. She sees me giving out information and her eyes start rolling. She KNOWS I’ve wanted to buy into DVC for a few years now, she’s not surprised. So, back in the room we’re looking over the DVC info Mark was nice enough to give us and she agrees, this is a good thing. We’re here, we might as well. So, here we are, down in our lobby waiting on the van to pick us up. We really thought we would take a tour of EACH DVC property…I have no idea why we thought we could do that in 2 hours, but we did. Nice surprise. DVC does NOT pressure you, at all.:thumbsup2 We arrived and got our nametags and helped ourselves to some coffee. We sat down and Kathy came over to sit with us. We chatted about 10 minutes and she got enough information from us to know we are LODGE girls. We liked the Boardwalk enough, but we didn’t LOVE it like Wilderness Villas. We went to her office and went over the numbers. This impressed us. We like how she got right to the point of it. No surprises, just the facts. Now we’re really hooked. She said, “Wanna go have a look at some rooms?” Ahhhh, yes!! So over to the building we go. I was so surprised it was IN the resort. They replicated several DVC rooms so potential buyers can walk in and SEE what they look like. It was a real working room. First we saw Bay Lake Tower. VERY cool. Like Ikea meets the Jetsons! We really liked the 1 bedroom, great view and HUGE bathroom! Now Kathy told us, since we’re lodge girls, we’re gonna LOVE the AKV. I wasn’t sure, as that resort had somehow never appealed to me. I take EVERYTHING back that I’ve ever said about it. We were in love the second we walked in a studio room. No joke. We LOVED the décor and the feel of it. VERY lodge-like. Then she took us in the 1 bedroom and that was it. If she had a contract I would have signed right then and there. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! :cloud9:Wife #2 was in heaven, and once she is impressed, it’s a done deal. We told Kathy we can’t sign now, as we are just finishing up a honeymoon. But rest assured, we WILL be buying. Looks like we will start the paperwork the end of Feb and close in March maybe.
Back to our resort to pick up the girls. They went to HS for one last morning of rides there. It was almost lunch. Hmmmm, we HAVE to eat a counter service, why not eat at Animal Kingdom Lodge and actually SEE the resort? Everyone was onboard, so we drove over. Now I KNOW why Kathy said we’d love it. It really IS like the WLV’s in that it is secluded which we loved. It’s HUGE and when you walk in that lobby, it really takes your breath away.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON500-1.jpg
MAGNIFICANT is the word that comes to mind. Lunch was great, we really enjoyed it. We trotted over to a gift shop, loved it as well. The décor inside this resort is just amazing. Can’t wait to actually stay there!!
Alrightie, Magic Kingdom ahead….or not. By now it’s about 1pm and we didn’t take into consideration it’s FRIDAY and 1pm. Crowded? You can’t imagine!! All week long we were spoiled with low crowds, Friday, not so much. We got in, took the train and that was it. We headed back to the resort for some pool time. Perfect idea. It was hot and we cooled off for a few hours.
Later, we had our last meal, over at The Wave in the Contemporary. Perfect ending to an amazing week. This was the first dinner Wifey #2 and I had on her first trip last year. We really love it there. We were given some complimentary Champagne to toast. How sweet?
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON504-1.jpg
The dinner was AMAZING, service was excellent. I can’t say enough good things about The Wave.
DISNEYWORLDHONEYMOON502-1.jpg
After dessert, we headed upstairs to see our friend who bartends there. Can you say PERFECT VIEW?? OMG, if you get the chance to stay at Bay Lake Towers, the view from the Top of the World lounge is AMAZING! We had some drinks and visited then we were off again. Time to head to DTD. I love this part. SHOPPING!!!! Now, this night, was the ONLY night it was cool the entire visit. Where are all our hoodies? Back at the resort. Yeah, we froze. Once inside a shop we were fine, but there was a good breeze going that night. Figures. We bought a few souviners and gifts and by now, we were all wiped out. Time to head back. No pool tonight, no drinks….we just hit the beds and fell out. Last night of Disney pixie dust and sweet dreams.

Up early, and on the road by 8AM. Long 11 hour trip home, but home IS where the heart is…or at least half my heart. The other half is in Disney, waiting for my return. Till next time….

Sorry it took me so long to get here, but here I am!!!

I love the app for finding hidden mickey's  I do believe that is what one calls cheating but now I must go and find it for my phone!!!

You with Belle was great! I did the same thing with Thumper, I am glad I am not the only one!

As for ToW at BLT, how did you get up there? Just curious.

:lmao:
I'm the opposite; can't pass up the cakes, pies, candies, ice cream, or doughnuts!:mickeybar

We did the Kim Possible missions and thought they were a lot of fun. The talking parts were lengthy and we clicked through a lot of it, but the interactiveness was TOO COOL!

Can't believe I missed a drink in a pineapple! :headache: Gotta get me one of those next time.

Glad you did the DVC tour and enjoyed the AKV suites! DVC really has something for everyone. I remember when we did the tour and saw BCV rooms and SSR rooms (which was still being built). It was love at first sight when we walked into the SSR room  I've stayed at a few of the DVC resorts now and SSR is still home to me.

Connections, eh? So YOU'RE the riff-raff they're trying to keep out with all the card-swipe-doors :rotfl::lmao::laughing:

What a great trip! Good weather, great company, and only a 10 hour drive away (still a little envious of that).

I love love love her. I was beyond thrilled to finally meet her. HIGHLIGHT of my trip:love:

OMG. We had cousin Laurie as our waitress when we were there in Sept. I loved her.
