One article I just read at the TC Palm newspaper site mentioned a dredging project in Sebastian where the condo owners eached paid a $1000 assessment prior to the storms and now they have 10 feet of beach and a seven-foot drop-off to sea level, which I assume means under water and not leading to the beach!
That is one thing that concerned me, looking at the VB photos, and wondering what kind of drop-off there was as you wade into the water. Yikes!
This is all just speculation, but it is certaily very possible right there.
