If this experience involved that, I would be the first to run far, far away regardless of how safe they tell me the jump will be.

But Tower of Terror, I could ride all day long.

Its pretty simple - its assumed that 7DMT will have the shortest wait time first thing in the morning. If you try to go there at 10am, you'll be waiting a lot longer than if you had ran over there with the stampede at 9am.

I doubt that. Soarin is almost 10 years old and still has long lines. Same with Toy Story.

Love Ya Deb and I always agree with you, but I have to say....We waited in Oct for this in the heat, sweating, waiting for our FP+time....It was a once and done for this family! Cute ride...but Soarin' is so much more an experience.

I giggle now thinking how stressed I was to try to get a FP for this.

We are going this week thru the 27th. Flying by the seat of our pants!

Everyone rushes to 7DMT first because they know that everyone else will rush to 7DMT first.

Call it the TSMM effect.

I believe that this board has established that very few people really plan for their trips. So I believe that most of the people rushing are rushing because, and I know this is crazy, they actually want to ride the ride. Not because of anyone else. Simply because of what they want to do.

There are countless newbies entering the gates of each park every day. Everything is new, and that includes rides that are new to everyone. So many people every day who haven't gone on it before.

I would add to the comments, the short availability of FP+ for this attraction. Take a look at the boards and all disers worrying about not getting FP even on the 60 day mark, are told to join the morning madness at RD.

We did it, even though we had FP+ for a later day, and it felt kind of a conquer to be the firsts to ride that day! First cart of the first train!

I am completely fine with that! Gives me more time to get my morning started without extra people pushing! I will ride it with my FP or late at night
