7 Dwarfs Mine Ride seating

I'm so excited about riding this in October for the first time but today I read some disturbing facts about the seats. I read that they're small and some people are being turned away just as they finally get to the ride after standing in line for who knows how long. I'm a size 18 woman and my husband is 6'6" with most of him being legs. Can anyone tell me which of us will have the worst ride. Me with short legs but a thick middle or my husband with long legs??

Your hubby will be more uncomfortable than you. I am bigger than you are and while it was not at all a comfortable ride (and two "normal" size men behind us were complaining how uncomfortable it was) it is short it enough and smooth enough that it is bearable. My DH is 6'3 300+ with huge football player legs and shoulders and our son is 6'1 185 and both talked about how cramped their legs were. My DH was miserable on it and ended up with bruises on the sides of his legs from squeezing them in between the lap bar. If your DH has skinny legs, he may be fine just uncomfortable from lack of leg room. If he has long thick legs like my DH, he may be miserable. Bright side...it only lasts a minute or so.

Thanks, you've made me feel better. DH has long skinny legs so it sounds like we should both be okay. At least for 2 minutes! lol Now I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks again!

DH is 6'6", 270lbs and while we haven't been on 7DMT yet, he has ridden the Barnstormer several times, a few of them sandwiched in there with DS and been fine. I'm sure there is at least as much room on 7DMT if not more.

I just rode 7DMT last week. I am 6'3", have a 42" waist, size 15 shoes, and long thick legs. I fit in their just fine; although it seemed awkward and overly dainty to sit with my knees so squished together I was comfortable enough while riding.
