My 3 year old has her heart set on meeting the 7 dwarfs. Am I right in thinking that the opportunities are very limited? Can someone help me out?

They don't meet outside the hard ticket parties for Halloween and Christmas.

We attempted to meet them at MNSSHP and it was a crazy line. You would probably be waiting a good hour, so if you want to use your MNSSHP ticket to wait in line then that's the only why you will meet them. Personally, after spending that kind of money even my 8 year old was telling me " let's get off the line" i guess it's like waiting for Elsa in Norway now a days.

The easy way to handle this and not waste party time is to get in their line well before the party starts.

I've only seen them in the parade and only meeting guests during MVMCP, maybe you'll get lucky and they'll be out meeting guests when the mine train opens but that's pure speculation on my part.

I may be wrong, but I thought one or two of them met with Snow White in the Germany pavilion at Epcot. Dopey and Doc maybe? I could have sworn I saw them there at some point.

Not in recent years, at least not as a scheduled M&G.

OP, since you will be there during the flower and garden festival, there is a chance your DD will be able to see topiaries of the dwarfs. It's not quite the same, but they are pretty awesome. :goodvibes

OP - besides the long lines at the parties - the meet/ greets there aren't great for the 7 Dwarves IMO. It was more like stand in your spot - get your picture taken - move on to the next group (at least it was like that for us). No playing around like you can with Chip/ Dale etc. We stood in line forever prior to a party -we started the line - they finally came out - we took the picture and elected unanimously never to do that line again.

For the other poster - we met Dopey with Snow White in Germany back in 2007 (and maybe in 2008) but I don't think we've seen him since then.

YES! I learned this right her on the DIS. I waited in line for 45 minutes before the Christmas party started. Most had no clue because the are not DIS knowledgable. My oldest took my other two around Fantasyland until all the dwarfs came out.

Whala! All of us had our picture with all of them in Photopass, and I had my very unique Christmas card. I will never forget it. It then became the cover picture on my Snapfish vacation book. :thumbsup2

We actually will be there the week of the Mine Coaster opening (media event?) April 26th-May 3rd. Crossing our fingers that we might get to see them there.

I haven't seen a parade in many years. The dwarfs are indeed in the parade??? She will probably be fairly satisfied with that. And possibly a stuffed Dopie to go with it. lol

I got in line at 6:05 this past Dec and got my pic taken around 8:10. I was there The Tue after thanksgiving which previously had been a low party attendance night but was sold out the night I was there. It was CRAZY. Never again will I do that....well maybe if Walt himself actually came alive again, but pretty safe betting that won't happen.
