So we are 1 week away from leaving for Anaheim. We started "kind of" planning on going to Disneyland since our oldest daughter was 4 (she is almost 10 now)! We have been seriously planning our trip for about 6 months now and I would just have to say I couldn't have done it without all of you (at least not as well). Because of you I have learned what are the best shoes to wear (and accidentally started quite a controversy on the subject:rotfl2:). I have learned at least a hundred little secrets around Disneyland that I would have never thought of. I saved money on my car rental and learned some good walking routes. I have squealed in delight looking at all the Halloween pictures, and the pictures of Alice and Mad Hatters Musical Chairs. I have read all of Hydroguys tips which I plan on putting to good use, loved reading "MyYearWithTheMouse" blog and all her posts. So much knowledge and so kind of all of you to put it to good use. I know I haven't posted that often, but I have read ALOT, and I hope to post more when we get back so I can help others.

Honestly, I kind of feel like you guys are a little family on here. Whenever I see some of the more frequent posters names pop up (like Sherry E, Skiingfast, Vexorg, and many more)..I feel like they are friendly faces that I can turn to and trust....sorry to be so sentimental...I just truly do appreciate everyone on here that takes time out of their own lives to help others like me and my family make our Disney Dream come true!:lovestruc

Have no idea what you have been told. Make sure you see "Crush", the Alladen play, mainstreet parade, and the fireworks from mainstreet. for some reason when the fireworks end about half or more of the people leave. A lot of the rides will have a lot shorter lines after the fireworks are over. When yer feet get tired and you need a break, either get on the monorail or the train and just get comfortable so you can enjoy a nice ride. You can ride either as long as you want. Have fun!:thumbsup2

Thank you so much for the shout-out!! :goodvibes

You are going to have such a great time. I have to say, I'm a little jealous of people who get to experience the magic for the first time ;). I hope you enjoy everything about your visit!!!

Wishing for you the best trip you've ever had!

YAY!!!! You're gonna have so much fun!!! I'll be there at the same time (I've been planning for six months, which a minute ago seemed like a long time :)) so I'll see you there! :goodvibes
