Which do you like better? What are the pros and cons of both, other than the 3 day port vs. 4 day port. Any advice would be great. We are booking for next January, February and need advice fast.

Thanks, Jayne

I prefer the Eastern due to the extra sea day and extra adult programming. However, the downside to an Eastern is that you have to do the early morning immigration check at St. Thomas.

I like the ports better on the Eastern as well.

Hi. I've only been on the Disney 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise. I've also done a western with another carrier. Personally I prefer the Eastern itinerary. I like the ports of call a bit better. The 7-night Eastern cruise generally goes to St. Marteen, St. Thomas/St. John (Virgin Islands), and Castaway Cay (Bahamas). The 7-night Eastern cruise goes to Key West (USA), Cozumel (Mexico), Grand Cayman, and Castaway Cay. Again, it depends on your preference. If you'd rather have lots of land excursions and prefer the Mexican/Cayman island flavor, then choose the Western. If you'd rather have a buccaneer pirate type of route, then choose the Eastern. Furthermore the Eastern will give you an extra day at sea. Days are sea seem much more relaxing to me than port days since you aren't rushed to go anywhere. But make sure you book on-board activities (such as spa treatments) on those days. Appointments go fast so book those as early as you can. Going for brunch at Palo (adults only restaurant) is also one of my favorite activites during days at sea. Whichever you choose you'll have a wonderful time on a 7-night Disney cruise. They are all fantastic.

Not anymore! :) That was done away with in early January 2009. :cool1: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2073091

We prefer the Eastern for the extra sea day and we love the beauty of the ports.
