7 day Western - May 7, 2005???

Linda - Sorry about that... wasn't reading the thread very well :sad2:

Susie - Guess we can't talk about DH now that he knows where your haning out ;)

We don't have "costumes" for pirate night, but I did find black skull tshirts for the four of us that were really cool. The girls and I will wear white capri's with it and DH will wear something  I did buy some skull blinky lights for all the kids, so I need to make sure to hand those out at the meet.

Goofytoo - Congratulations on the 18 years!!!!!

Wednesday night we're taking my Dad out for his birthday (his 77th on May 7th), so atleast I won't have to worry about dishes. I have a friend housesitting our 3 dogs & cat, so not going to bother vaccuming before we leave.

Just to let everyone know, the snow is finally gone and we are going to hitt 45 today  I can't WAIT to be in the 80's :sunny:

I don't have the green mickey's for my carryon, but I will be wearing a lime green shirt with white skorts, so don't hesitate to buy me a drink when you see me ;) ;)

Finally doing the "Doc Dance" here... Can you believe it? But hey, we don't leave for THREE more days, no problem, right? My TA has no idea what she's doing to my Capricorn self! :faint:

Happy Anniversary, Goofytoo/Lisa! :flower:

Still packing here. It wouldn't be "me" if I was done any sooner than the night before!

tiggerzfan lets do the documents hustle!! :rotfl:

Goofytoo,
Happy annisversary!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

Well just back from taking DGD to the doctor's. She has sinustis. So we're starting meds tonight should be all better by Friday. She also has to get exray's of her back tomorrow.

I don't know about the rest of you but the more I try to get done, the worse the house looks. :confused3

4 more days for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I'll be so glad to get on that ship.
Debbie

Oh, Debbie...so sorry to hear about your DGD. :guilty: Hope she feels better soon and that her back is ok. Doesn't it always work this way, so it seems.
We are very experienced with not so much sickness, but injuries. DS17 has broken his wrist, arm, severe leg fracture (3 screws), and has had knee surgery. His last lacrosse game is Thursday and I told him, "Don't you dare get hurt!".

Sat through a freezing cold :cold: , pouring rain :umbrella: baseball game this afternoon. DS13 is catcher. It was a race for the shower when we got home. All I keep thinking is four more days and it will be warm and sunny. :sunny:

Bought a really neat carryon today for our wine. $9.86 at Walmart. Wrapped the wine in bubblewrap, put it in a big ziplock and wrapped it up with blue jeans. How's that for creative packing?

Gotta go watch "The Bachelor". I confess...I'm a reality show junkie aka moron. Any others???

Debbie

Happy Anniversary on this end too Goofytoo!

Hope all goes well with DGD. I have my fingers crossed for you and her! :cheer2:

If it were hurricane season, I would say one went through my house. Stuff is everywhere and it's driving me crazy  So...I'm right there with you Debbie. Just think of the mess we'll have unpacking it all when we get home :rotfl2:

Linda, I bought a great carry-on today too! I already put my wine in it, but I also like your bubble wrap idea  :Pinkbounc Oh yeah....I'm watching the Bachelor too! Not crazy about the 3 girls left. Guess I'll have to pull for the fellow nurse :cheer2: Off to iron and watch the rest of it :wave2:

Susie...definitely your fellow nurse. The other blonde can't possibly care for him because she's too in love with herself and Krisely, hmmm, something's not right there. Sara B. is just so cute and has some morals. But really, I don't care for him so it doesn't matter. That show has been on a downward spiral. So...how about American Idol, Survivor, Amazing Race...anyone???

Yup...that Sara W. was a real deal killer :rotfl: Could you imagine being so stuck on yourself like that? :worship:
I am truly NOT a TV watcher, but do watch all of them! When I'm home alone all day, I never ever turn the TV on. I'm so busy doing everything else. I need at minimum, another 12 hours in a day  We have that DVR thing through the cable company, so most of the time we record the programs and start watching them mid-stream to avoid the commercials.

BTW....I know I'll get no sympathy here :charac2: , but I am forced to go to EPCOT tomorrow. DD12 has sort of a last minute field trip. She would be devastated  if Mom couldn't chaperone. I guess when you live here, you kind of take it for granted. Now is NOT the time for me to lose a day of preparation!

Susie...we do the same thing with the Tivo. Isn't it great. You can watch an hour show in 40 minutes. I don't watch tv during the day either. Sometimes on Saturday or Sunday, we catch up with the programs we've recorded all week.

I know what you mean about living close. DS13 is going on a field trip tomorrow in to NYC to see "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway. There were some extra tickets and I was sooooo tempted but when I mentioned it he said, "Don't even think about it". Mothers are such an embarrassment to young teens!!! Normally, I'd probably go anyway but I thought about how much I still have to do. Oh well! :confused3

:wave2: Linda

i love my DVR- and i admit i am an American Idol junkie.......anyone else? i was devastated when constantine was voted off last week- i not a big fan of his but i didn't think he should have left before scott :guilty:

i woke up at 4 am this morn- is that crazy or what-  thank god i was back to sleep by 4:30am!!...dreaming about the cruise :goodvibes

not much longer gang :hourglass

Hi All!
Were you all glad that Sarah W. went or what . She was such a b......
How can anyone love their self so much.

Tevo is the best thing. Every month when we see the bill my DH say's {lets get rid of it }but we never do.

Still going crazy. There's not enough hours in the day right now.

Debbie :wave2:

Linda - We're Survivor fans in our house. My kids love Fear Factor, but I can't watch when they eat gross stuff  We use to watch American Idol, but for some reason, not so much this year.

Susie - We have the DVR thing too. When my DH got it, I complained since we're paying out the rear already, but it's definitely been the best thing, especially when we'll be gone for 10 days :goodvibes

My oldest DD woke up this morning like tomorrow we would be leaving. Told her 2 days, but she is very excited. I had a weird dream last night and think my vacation stress is playing out in my dreams :earseek:

The sun is finally out for the first in days :sunny: :cool1: :sunny: :cool1:

I love survivor!

What's the weather like in Florida?
I hate the old Weather .com and wunderground.
I think the margin for error is too great
I guess I shouldn't look because as my DH says we're going anyway
Why stress over it.

2 more wake ups before our Magical Journey begins!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Does anyone know if they have wheel chairs at the port?

My MIL is really having a hard time with her ankle : (

is everything a go for you jott3 ? :wizard:
hope so!! :flower1:

Well, just got back from Walmart. Forgot to pack DD's shoes and realized that her dress shoes were too small! Geez, didn't she just wear them at Easter...oh, not that was her black pair. So, we went looking for some at the consignment shop first but they were all too big. Next stop Walmart. Thank goodness they still had one pair in her size! Oh, yeah, forgot a travel alarm clock. Had to get that. Needed something to read but they were restocking the shelves and couldn't get to them...bummer! Got some travel shampoo bottles...our other ones broke...okay, guess that's it. Go pay, am halfway out to the car and remembered....SUNSCREEN!!! I feel like such a bubblehead! Tori was rubbing her eyes so there was no way that I would be able to get back into the store again without her having meltdown - she's been waking up too early and asking me "Go to Disney?!" each morning and no matter how hard I try, she won't go back to sleep! AAARRGGHH!! 6:30 is not my idea of a wake up time....7:30 is more appropriate time since I can't get to bed before 1 am these days. Never fails, everytime I try to get to bed early, I lay there and my mind starts filling with lists of things to do and check on! Oh, lordy, I need Saturday to come so that this can be over with and we can just BE ON OUR WAY!!

So, how many trips to Target and Walmart have you done this week? I wonder who the winner is? We've been 2 times to Target and 1 time to Walmart since Sunday.

Well, I've only made one trip to both Walmart and Target so far but it's only Tuesday. I actually started putting clothes in Ziplocs and into suitcases today. That thought of three suitcases and a garment bag went right down the drain since all I packed was DS13's stuff and three suitcases are half full. I guess it's a good thing we have two luggage tags per person. Let's see, there's four of us x 2 plus each one will have a carryon. DH is gonna hit the roof!!! To which I say, "Fine, you pack next time". Right!!! :rotfl2:
All of us reality show junkies will be spending the week we get home catching up. DS13 asked if we'll get the shows on the tvs on the ship to which I responded with we didn't spend all this money to watch tv!!!
I feel an excitement lull. Anyone else? I think it's kind of like being in the eye of the hurricane. :rotfl:
:wave2: Linda

Well, since Mommymouse decided to go down to where mickey actually lives
or at least next door at Epcot. :charac2:

I have now become intimate with dayquil, alkaseltzer plus and whatever else looks good in the medicine cabinet to get rid of this cold flu junk. :drinking1

Just our clan alone is eligible to.. do the wave: :thewave:

Poor poor DW, she did give a call and told me how beautiful the weather is in Epcot land, I told her to bring goofy back, we can give him a lift to the ship.

Anyway times a wasting... I gotta git back to a nap (my life is difficult too).

See all of yall soon: :earboy2:

PS.. Dont worry about taking your digital camera stuff through the xray machines, it wont harm them at all.

Flybycruise,
sorry to hear your sick. keep taking that nyquil. You only have acouple of days.

Ok DH just asked me how many suitcase's we were taking. I told him three. He said{THREE WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY}. What do you think he'll say when I tell him 4 plus garment bag plus carry-ons? :sad2:

Been to Walmart twice and Target once but still need to go with Debbie(Pa.) when she gets here. She needs to get some things, she can't get up North.

I'm having such a hard time keeping it together in work this week. Should have taken some days off. I'm just too excited!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

The packing is taking up more space than I thought. Now I understand why they had steamer trunks. Why did they do away with them any way? :rotfl:

Need to get back to packing. I'll check in later.

Debbie

Hi all... just got home from EPCOT :cool1: And yes...it was BEAUTIFUL perfect weather! As much as I dreaded going, I totally got into the Mickey spirit when I got there. James...I was thinking of you when I was standing in the gift shop in front of all those pins :rotfl2: Wish I knew which ones you needed....if any???

Poor Dh started getting sick yesterday with a cold or something. Noone else here has it :confused3 Told him last night to stay on his side of the bed and not breathe in my direction. Good guy that he is.....handled the other 3 while dd and I had a grand ole time with Mickey! Men don't handle sickness well....sorry guys :guilty:
