7-day tickets for 6 days..

So, I just realized we have 7-day base tickets, but will only be there 6 days (really 5 1/2). So...assuming that I can't cancel that last day, can we use that extra ticket as sort of a hopper for a day? Does that make sense? Lol.

Sadly they will not let you do that.

Unfortunately, if you have MYW Base ticket then it is one park per day. You could upgrade to a hopper pass, but it is a bit costly.

That completely depends on how and when you purchased it. If you added it to a package, or room only reservation, then call asap and tell them you want to take one day off. They can only say no.
I had a room only reservation that I added a 6-day park hopper to; after reading so much about FP+, I realized that PHs just weren't going to work for us so I called and had them take the hopping option off. I ended up with a credit on my account to use toward my room payment.
Long story short - ask. If you don't like the answer you get - call back and ask again just to be sure. You may need a supervisor to participate in the transaction.
Just be advised, the credit may be minimal - the difference for the extra day isn't that great.

Maybe. If you bought it as part of a package from disney, you can change to 6-day tickets, but if you are within 45 days of your trip, you will be charged a $50 fee.

That extra day only costs $10 per ticket, so if you can't change it, it isn't the end of the world.

Well, I just planned this trip and made reservations about a week and a half ago, and I didn't realize she put us down for 7 days. We're going in less than 2 weeks, though, so I guess I'm probably out of luck. I wish I would've noticed it earlier. Oh, well. Ya win some, ya lose some! Thanks all!!

OP, at least call Disney Reservations. Explain that the 7 day tickets were ordered by mistake and you happened to notice it just now. Nothin' to lose by asking. Have a great trip.

I think I will do that. If they don't allow it, maybe I can talk my dh into another day at Disney!!
