7 Day Park Hopper Can I trade in for Annual pass ???

Hello I just purchased my 7 day park hoppers, if I decide to get Annual passes instead can I trade these in? Where do I go to trade them at the parks? I read somewhere they are able to scan to find out what you paid and you pay the difference is this correct? Thanks for any help!
